I am retiring at the age of 57. So moving from the UK to northern Morocco 🇲🇦 in June 2025. Morocco has plenty of sun, sea (3000 km of the Atlantic Ocean and 500 km of the Mediterranean Sea). Just paid €70K for a new apartment of 84 sqm with underground parking in the centre of a beautiful town: Tetouan. Cost of key expenses (syndic for maintenance & cleaning services, electricity, gas) is €80 a month. Morocco 🇲🇦 is a great option to those who use their brains. The local airport in Tetouan is served by Ryanair if you wish to fly to Spain (Madrid and Malaga) , France (Marseilles), and important Moroccan cities (Marrakesh, Fes, Etc). Standard of living in Morocco is 30% cheaper than Spain. Morocco 🇲🇦 is truly a great destination. Do your research with an open mind. Not biased.
