Join us for a ski tour in the mountains of BC (partial day). I also take a trip out to where I'm building the little cabin on a cliff to check things out, and plan and prepare how to tackle working out there with all the snow.
I touch on previous ski mountaineering trips in the Swiss Alps, sailboats, and introduce Steve's new boat being constructed overseas, and our plan to bring it across the Pacific Ocean. A lifelong dream of his, which he has been working towards his whole life.
We now have our Starlink satellite up and running!
Join me in the next video for a PRO-JECT!

Just the utmost respect for Steve and his skills on the open water and climbing mountains. A very wise choice to turn back for home as It was only "a day out with the dogs" - They don't know you didn't reach the summit! I've had to use the same decisions making skills when flying planes to prevent flying into trouble. I love your commentary and decisive thoughts Michy. Your music tracks you pick for the videos are just awesome too. 😀

This is not just a woman with mountain and building skills who lives on a mountain who sometimes cuts logs and builds sheds--we are way past that now. holy smoke! As a young skier I dreamt of Zermatt many times --now that time is long gone. Just to go would have been enough. To climb the Matterhorn? Way way deep into my dreams. Glad you're all healthy. That's such a beautiful spot of Earth you have there. Those are some pretty substantial accomplishments for Steve (and yourself). Seems like now would be a good time to lower building supplies to your cabin site, letting gravity and the slippery surface provide an assist. I would not consider your ski excursion unsuccessful, you got out into the wild and made it home without any major damages. Glad you got your satellite connection re-established without and major issues. The Winter weather has finally arrived here with our first major storm, but no where near your snowfall numbers. Looking forward to your next project...
