Living in the Now

The world is incredibly beautiful - endlessly varied - endlessly interesting - and i try to take some time every day simply to look at the things around me. Sometimes I can become so absorbed in looking, that thoughts disappear. Sometimes i even lose a sense of time. I always feel refreshed!
To this end I take two walks a day. In the morning and in the evening - the first helps organise my thoughts, the second helps put them to bed.
I also love trying to understand the reason why things are the way they are - in this video for example an appreciation of late spring leading to why we have seasons at all. Understanding why things are the way they are for me always leads to a wider appreciation, more enjoyment, more wonder, and in this instance an appreciation of our position in space! If you really think about it, it gives you an existential buzz 🐝 ! :-))

I have never really thought about the seasons in that way, we just move in and out of winter/summer clothes without really thinking about “why”
