I'll tell you, I went from a depressed 16 year boy who knew he was being fed BS by our society and parents to a 28 year old peaceful being that is not afraid to face any sitatuon and preparing for the day I leave this vehicle. Ram das and many others have helped remind me of who I'm not and who I am. 12 years later and I'm still listening and hearing deeper and deeper teaching each time I go back

that was fun to listen to. lots of variety. very entertaining--like life. the short of it: infinite formless energy morphs into finite forms for its pleasure, which pleasure is adventure, challenge, risk, excitement, chills and thrills. When a finite form awakens it knows its form is temporary, is having experiences as a form, and then it enjoys all its experiences while having empathy for all who suffer not being awake. EVEN SHORTER: HEY POPS, WHAT AM I? You are a portion of infinite energy that has morphed into a finite human form to have adventures.

To anyone listening...the opening is between words...to stop at the words only and say " nice talk" then continue as egoic human is attachment to the intellect and concepts...to not see the opening beyond intellect and concepts is the veil of illusionary living in the world dominated by physical senses...to remain attached to the words is the folly of egoic minded thinking...to be in silence is the beginning of wisdom...to become mesmerized by stillness is in awe of the divine as one travels through the opening beyond the senses and reaching with spiritual arms to touch the divine self reaching for you...may each one who hears these words awaken to your path on the evolution of consciousness....Blessing to all🙏

That is so funny. When he was talking about meditating until you begin to become stiff and stop breathing and then freaking out. That is exactly what happened to me. I figured if I kept going I was just going to die from it so I ran back towards the light LOL then I discovered that there are other practices to teach the individual to mechanically breathe to get through this phase.

I think, that when you start to notice that the world is an illusion, you may be ready. Meditation can certainly help you get closer, but in my opinion that is probably not what you should do. Simple test: if you believe in anything other people have told you, and that is the reason for your beliefs, you are not ready.
