It’s a good way to end our laundry and chores day. BBQ always relaxes me. Dazel and Leana added Smores to our BBQ menu. 😁 Life is good my friend.

Helloooo Ginno ... I can smell your BBQ all the way here . thank you for sharing your Saturday with us .. laundry day is important and having a machine is so American 😅 We're thinking of buying a dryer since it's so hard to dry clothes outside but they're pricey. Have a great day.

Hello my friend. We’ve made our laundry day, BBQ day, to make it more fun. Dazel and Leana added making Smores when I BBQ. 😁 We now keep a supply of marshmallows, Hershey’s chocolate, and Graham crackers. Washing machine is a huge help. We still handwash to remove stains. I actually haven’t noticed any clothes dryer when we shop; maybe because I always just think of hanging our clothes to dry. Plus, we would have to keep the dryer outside. Rust is a problem for us; because we live close to the ocean.

We have a neighbor who does hand washing and her husband is my handy-man . they can use the money .. and I think you have to hunt for the dryers but I'm not too sure about keeping one outside .. might not be such a good idea . doesn't everyone live near the ocean there ? I can't do the smores anymore with my diabetes but that sounds really good. Take care my friend and best to the family.

@@doughenderson4345 Yes; most people live by the ocean. Maybe, that's why dryers aren't popular here. It's just common practice for most people to hang their clothes to dry. I understand about the Smores my friend. I eat very little sweets too. Appreciate you supporting our channel. Take care my friend.

It didn’t rain till later on in the evening. I got all the cooking done. Dazel and Leana even made Smores. 😁

Yes; Saturday is our normal laundry and chores day (cleaning our house). Unless it rains or when we go out of town for the weekend.

I noticed that too my friend. Chickens here are a lot smaller. I can’t tell if they taste better; it’s been so long when I had American chicken. 😁

Do you use charcoal or a certain type of wood when bbq?

I use the local charcoal. It's sold at most sari-sari stores; cost about 20 pesos (.35 US cents) per package. Half the size of a regular plastic grocery bag. Enough for one cooking.

When you buy a new house does it come with the necessary connections for a washer and dryer/ hot and cold water or even a connection for central air or do you specifically have to have them installed/built in by the contractor? Thank you Gino your videos are always very informative and inspirational.

At Camella Homes (gated community), when we bought our house in 2014, it took them 1 1/2 years to build our house. It was a brand new subdivision at the time; we were house number 6. No swimming pool yet, no basketball court, no gate guard, no subdivision walls. When our house got completed; it was bare bones. No connections for washer/dryer; no hot water; no connection for central air. Very few homes in the Philippines have central air. If you want all those features in your house; you have to build your house from scratch. You will have to find your own architect; building engineer; and buy your own land. Very hard to find licensed or bonded building contractors here; specially in the provinces. People usually find their builder from family and friends. There are no building inspectors here from the government. You are pretty much free to build any anything you want; anyway you want. In gated community like ours; you will have to get any build or additions approved by the HOA. There are pros and cons with building on your own and having a house built for you in a gated community.
