It starts with meditation for me. It's not unwillingness, it's letting go of the layers of denial that served me in the past.

This is great. I try to live authentically and I believe that it being honest and sincere are great attributes especially during these tumultuous times here on the planet. It can be a daunting task to try to observe this life from our higher selves, so to speak, as opposed to the egoic perspective which so many of us are conditioned to do. It can be challenging honestly, but it's not impossible. Thanks again for all your work.

To take it deeper would be to find out why a person is not honest with themselves? What negatives believes (fears, worries, doubts, judgements, etc) are they lost it? Just because a person admits something about themselves to themselves it does not make it true or untrue. We only can see the Truth - things as they are if we let go of everything (fears, worries, doubts, judgements, etc) and see/function from our essence - unconditional Love. That means the assumptions, fears, etc we have need to be found, met and let go of. Then, we will really see and know how everything is. When you find Love within yourself you find you real self and then you can clearly see and know yourself and any situation with clarity. The Truth shall set you free. Love

I experience that nothing is only "black and white." I experience that there is NOT simply the truth, as Adyashanti implies. There are different angles of consideration where it may be more truthful to state a lie, for example. A lie that is not malicious or deceptive, but is for some purpose. "Think for yourself, your teacher may be wrong (or limited in their understanding).
