You don't live in a van. You sleep in a van and live outside with a purpose. Without a purpose it matters not where you live or sleep. A van is a mobile home. If you're lonely in a van you're lonely in a unit, house or mansion.

Van Life is Awesome! You dont get rained on...or have people walk by and stare at you as you sleep on the concrete...its all perspective...I worked my ass off completely homeless...to earn my van...Im so happy now! I sleep by the beach for cool breeze...key to van life is...go north in the summer where the weather is cool...jobs are plentiful...and van life is normal...go south in the winter...where the weather is cool an warm...live on the summer money...get a part time for extras...and prepare for summer north again...its a great life!

Comfortable living. Is staying warm or cool. Eating haveing a full belly is another. Sleeping comfortable is another. Indoors out of the elements is plus. Being able to to break free of bull shit is a comfort. Being alone is a pc of cake after being around my family ive been rob by them money was the start of it .you learn to avoid them, then your rob of what love for family can be, naw thiers far worst thing's than being alone. Its your mind you must please. Staying comfortable is staying away from my relative's. They want what every one else has even tho they have plenty. They dont care if they put you on the street. I fear my family like the grim reaper. They come for what you have .if you dont have nothing they don't come. Yea being mobile is being able to survive. Staying low key is also survival. But make sure in your van all is legal for the road if not the system will have you in court for what Else you have. Teach a man to fish he may always be able to eat fish. Teach a man to fear the system he can survive . No license no fish hungry or not. When your fishing for your hunger. Throw lines are best tied off at the bank not in your hand. If its not in your hand your not fishing. Observation from a distance is better. The system is watching you they want anything you have that mere van you call home they will take it dont stay in one place to long the rich pray on the weak. Just like the lion prays on the weak or youngest. YEA its real .stay safe stay real observer your surroundings no matter family, government, friends thier all takers. Being real is survival. lonely is in your mind. Love yourself first, someone else second, never never never let your guard down. Seriously fuck the rest. If you dont thier gonna well you be on the street.

I was parked at a Walmart and step out of car to put my other shirt on. I see an older man with a Dodge Caravan like one I had. He's putting ice in a ice chest. I go up to him and say good morning. He says good morning. I say how you like your van, does it have the 3.3 engine in it? He says, WHERE ARE YOU GOING WITH THIS CONVERSATION😠 I said oh just wanted to talk about the van, but God bless and walked away. He says something like F you, get the F out of here. I was tempted to do something, but left him in God's hand. I'm a nice, cool guy and will continue to be. Not gonna let nobody stop me from being me.

@@dukeallen432 Jesus loves you. So do I.
@kassiedreaneai74595 жыл бұрын
@@dukeallen432 Dear Sir; your are drunk on your anti God ideas; and trying to teach a drunk person is like trying to get a dead possum to move. Have you ever actually studied a bible? Not just read it front to back {which I also imagine you have not done} but actually studied right down to the meaning of the words in their original language. That is how you learn about God and get to know him. He already knows each one of us; but if we choose to not know him and to push him away, what do you actually expect him to do for you. The bible will reflect back to you what you believe. That will not make sense to many people; but there are many who understand this. If you have preconceived ideas you will confirm them in the bible. That is why you need to forget what you think you know; and ask God to show you what he wants you to know about him. But to be specific and more simple; God asks us to believe on His Son; and ask daily for forgiveness of our sins. Do you know what sin is? It is the failure of us to obey his simple 10 commandments. But we are unable to obey them alone. That was the mistake the Israelites made at the foot of the mountain when Moses had just led them out of Egypt. We need to ask daily for Jesus to enter our hearts to strengthen us to overcome sin. But this is not a suitable place for teaching bible things and people did not come here to read it. But if we {you ; me; or anyone} is not prepared to ask daily for Jesus' spirit to enter into our hearts which is the biggest thing God asks of us { John 10:9. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. } {John 14:6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. } then what do you expect God whom you reject to actually do for you? God gave you free will to love him or to reject him. You have rejected him and then complain because he gave you the freedom from him that you sought. You throw out generalizations about cancer and starving people like it is God who caused it all or God's fault it exists.What have you or anyone done to show obedience to what God asks of us. God made a perfect sin free world with no sickness then Adam and Eve chose Satan over God which we then inherited that nature of rejecting God; and then without coming to God first you want to blame him because he is not turning around what Satan has done to the world and everyone and everything that is on it. You will go on hating. Others will think whatever they wish about my reply. But blessings to those who understand what I have said.... short and incomplete as it is.

Just like people who live nomadically, he works nomadically.. gets to see new sights everyday, meet new people.. he has pimped out his truck like a mini apt & has all the creature comforts of home, less a shower & he gets one of those as often as he wants at the truck stops. My daughter has traveled with her dad every summer & winter break from school & she has been to almost all 50 states. She has so many awesome memories from horseback riding on the beach to making her 1st snowman at a truckstop (Florida baby) they listened to books on tape & still talk about the crazy cat youtube videos they loved, there were times we both went with him (he has two bunks in his truck) and we traveled as a family while he worked. His work provides a wonderful life for us & still does. Our youngest is 18 now & still goes on a trip with her dad once a year.. the time spent on the road was extremely bonding, and that will last a lifetime. when she leaves the nest we plan on selling the house & buying a small home base & an RV & the adventure will continue!

I cook on electricity my fridge runs only on electricity. It cost to get the electric system, but now I have almost free electricity for my entire life. I have restored everything, never lived better. I was a loner in my apartment too. Now I get to see some new people and say hello. I've been farming by myself for three years and a purposefully hermit. I did so because of bad relationships in the past, but now I realize what you just said, the anger towards not having grows and eats you to where no one wants to be around you. Wow! Thank you for your message James, I think you are awesome and i hope you continue living in your van. I guess there are ups and downs to living this way, perhaps the worst of it is being alone but the best of it is being free to experience things you will never get to do if you lived in a house. I wish you well and i think i may follow your journey... God bless you and keep you safe. :)

Its all the same. Own a house, pay a stinking mortgage, rent one you have a landlord who owns you. I already used to live in RV's and it was actually cool, and now I lost my job I had, and am happy to get rid of my shit and scale down again. Every form of living has an upside and a down side, and for me, being owned will not happen again.

I have been living on the road since 2010. Before that, I was enlisted. Before that, I lived at a friend's house. Before that, I changed schools a few times. I am used to moving. Now, I spend 10,000 miles a month behind the wheel and the rest of the time wishing I would just commit to something. Not cigarettes and energy drinks. A job, a task, an assignment, anything else besides sitting in a parking lot watching other people do things together. To be a part of someone's life, to be needed, to feel useful, important, worth something.

You have inspired me. You are right. You don’t live life IN your van. You life live OUTSIDE of your van. The van is just somewhere to sleep. Work hard. Learn about God. Meditate on God’s word brother. God is watching over you. Don’t worry about the anxieties of life you are experiencing. Pray to our Heavenly Father. Let him know what you’re feeling. You are very wise. Nice video!!

I'm guessing we are close to the same age.... I'm 58 & I lost almost everything I owned in 2009. Wife, kid, dogs, & my home. I lived in my home w/o electric or water in that last 6 months but was thankful for the roof over me. I didn't even have a car that ran..... And I still didn't know the Lord was even there for me but he was & I didn't figure that out for another 2yrs after. I finally got help & a PC where I learned about Giants..... lol, yes, they were 7'-12', tall, oblong skulls, 6 fingers/toes, & some other anomalies. Over 15,000 were found in the USA since 1800 & they lost them all. No problem, they'll teach us about them in schools or show them in museums. NOT. Even Darwin forgot to mention them in his, "Theory". I asked, WHY? Why Not? I began a 2 yr @ 12hrs a day research on these giants & got into trouble from some government group who didn't like my ways of searching but I came to a place where they were Aliens or Demons. I ruled out Aliens but Theologians were split on Genesis 6:4 and it took me on to the Book of Enoch. What I ultimately learned was that they were All trying to hide the True Living God. All of this happened over a 2+ year time between 2009-2012 & this all that I did. I did it w/ no Bible, nor a Church, or any christian friends. There;s only one God who would give a nonbeliever a run like this story & deliver me at the end. That's when I knew he had been the one delivering me to every place I ever went & I lived wrong, badly even, & yet he got me to every destination unscathed. This is my Testimony & I've never doubted. I hope this finds you better than you felt in this video as I know how tough it is out there & it may be where I go until I find where home is again. I've lost my way but I hope you're doing well & I'm going to add you to my prayers tonight. Just because I can...... GB You

Thank you sir for your sober assessment of the life you have experienced and the meaning you have gained from it. Sometimes I live as a solitary one and seek knowledge from within myself and ask the Almighty to aid my humble quest. And after awhile I may feel the attraction to go in the midst of my fellows, my society and seek friendship and heartfelt solidarity with others that I may feel the charge of human love. I really enjoyed what you said about getting out and connecting with other people who may be lonely as we are. This is the gift of God.

I don't see why people act like it's any different than a house. It's shelter. Depending on the utility situation, it's literally the same thing. All shelters are equal imo. Each requires different maintenance. But it's still just shelter at the end of the day.

The best gigs seem to involve something obscure we never heard of.. Develop the Viewpoint of, opportunity is everywhere you look (or close to it) read some; but, get out there where-ever possible to look, meet, listen, etc; find out what diff ppl/biz need/want in short-term, to see if any given oppty may be a decent fit to your skills.

I live in Southern Ontario. I am approaching retirement years. It is my dream to live out my life RVing in the spring/fall season when it is cooler. I'm not sure if I could live in a van more then a month at a time. A large 27 plus foot RV I know I could live all year round without a home base. It is for now just a dream for me. Very informative, educational video. I've been watching tons of RV & van living video's for over a year now with less television. I stumbled by your channel by accident. i was looking for some Canadian van life and found you. Thanks for sharing. Sharing is caring!
