how do you join smps and like how do they work, i joined one that i think was an smp but i dont know at all how they work, it was also really laggy. if someone could just explain the bases of how an smp works and how it relates to like normal multiplayer survival words it would be much appretiated

every smp at its core is just survival multiplayer, the servers i make videos on are typically exclusive to content creators only and everyone's goals are just to make cool videos out of their experiences ingame
