I am Caucasian living in Canada . His family accepted me from the day he said he has a girlfriend in Canada . His parents wanted to see me on Skype the very weekend . I must add that I am 19 years older than him. His partners may hafe a little stirred up feelings about my age. Perhaps they want their son to marry someone younger and I understand them. Africans want big families and we won’t have our own children. I have a son and he has his . If we get married and remain stable we can adopt if he wishes to do so . I trickled the information to my family that I have a romantic feelings to a black man across the word in Africa. My sister was shocked , my nieces cautioned me that he wants to come and get his status in Canada then leave me . My son seems to be ok but he is the kind of man that holds his emotions within. He speaks to him from time to time briefly. I know that I may get some resistance from family and friends but I feel I need to do this for myself and follow my feelings . I love him . I decided to trust him and God . We date with a purpose to marry not to just kill time we don’t have . We date constructively discussing serious matters and creating scenarios.
