Living kindly with our garden friends

Anna Breytenbach, interspecies communicator, shares simple ways in which we can become more aware and kinder to our garden neighbours.
Specific tips:
Check door and window edges before opening
Handle woodpiles gently to allow any small residents to move away/stay undisturbed
Keep leaf litter instead of blowing or raking it away, letting it feed the earth and keeping creatures' homes safe
When gardening with hands or tools, exercise caution and slowly check the soil/plants for life
Research bat and owl nesting boxes to make the right choices for installation
Place sticks/grasses in outdoor water containers to allow insects to crawl out to the edges safely

@@RK-qk7ow Spider is an important presence in my life, so I let them be and try my best not to injure them in any way while I'm moving around in my home. When they leave their web and the web becomes old, I vacuum it up. I remind myself that from their perspective, we are huge, powerful giants. They are tiny little delicate beings - they deserve our kindness and respect.

Urgent: please do NOT give essential oils to cats at all... they are toxic to them and even a couple of drops can kill them in a very painful way through organ failure.

I love this so much!! I always look out for our insect friends, at work if I see a bug I capture it and put it back outside, I also tell my coworkers not to kill them. We are all sharing this planet together 💞🙏🌿🐌🐞🐛🐤🌺

Thanks Anna for the really helpful advice Reassuring to know I'm not alone in thinking about all animals including insects. Great tip on leaving twigs etc. in the water bowl. Need advice though. Indoor spiders in bathroom. I always feel sorry for them & think they will starve so I collect them with a special spider catcher & take them outside and put them in small bushes. Is this the right thing to do?

... thank you Anna, it's been hell listening to all the felling of trees and paving over of ground and removal of more and more nature in the city I live in ... this video will help us to be considerate towards are fellow co-habitants ... we've let our garden go wild and don't clean it up to allow nature to take hold with as little disturbance as possible ... our neighbours constantly complain about 'the mess' so it's nice to have a video like this to share with them. I do have only a bit of garden, but it grows perfect... every year I´m living here an other type of plants come to join us... I do not water my garden too mtusch, when it´s dry... I help but I do not take responsibilty for the missing water from above... only the plants living with as in capture... in pots... they can count on me... BUT I forgot to give the insects water... because of our cats I don´t feed birds in our area... we do that in the woods nearby the forrest kindergarden... I will build the insects something ... not too deep and with lots of possibilty to get a good spot to start to fly from... I just forgot that they need water too... I´m in shock.. and releved... I knew it was missing something... and now I will drink myself... too less... also... feel safe dear Anna and loved... and may never be something missing in your life... plenty from the very best for you and all of us... we just take what we need and leave what is anyway only disturbing ... (:)

As a gardener I can't wait or work too slowly a paying customer wouldn't tolerate that so I simply apologise for any inconvenience or cause of death of bugs & worn before to watch out. Reincarnation is for real for humans for animals and plants it's a different realm of living in the now.

Cockroaches keep frogs away and sweep up microscopic bits of food for you. Use diatamaceous earth (powder) on your bed and they wont come near.
