I'm not quite sure to understand why there is not more females watching channels like this. It seems like it's especially true when the video or youtuber is talking even slightly about science or technology, on these channels there is almost always no girls commenting (and probably watching too). I think the only channels I'm regularly watching where I'm seeing girls in the comment section are about animals or about true crimes. That's funny because there is a lot of very talented female KZbinrs talking about science and technology but their viewers are always only like 10% females... Are they really just watching TikTok dance and makeup tutorials?

I watch one video game channel, and, at just 20%, he has some of the highest female viewership in the area. I see majority women commenting on sewing and DIY channels, but that's a much smaller sector. I'm not sure if it's some counting or reporting error, but such a low number is consistent with my experience. Out of the women I know, I'm the only one whose primary source of entertainment media is KZbin. It seems more common to watch traditional media like TV and movies (I don't have the attention span for them lol).
