My favourite is Whisper of the heart. I feel a strong connection with the main character, her love of reading and her journey of learning what she wants to do with her life. I've been in her footsteps many times and it holds one of my favourite picturesque scenes in all of the Ghibli movies. It also has one of my favourite effects of Ghibli movies, where the movie makes you slow down, take stock of the world, the trees, the grass the houses and the animals and people and history that make up a place. (Which I can happily see is gorgeously depicted in your video) It turns a normal day into an adventure through time and people's lives and habits by looking at simple objects and observing the wear, care and transformation or absence of them. It's a wonderous experience. The only other film I think does this better is the secret world of Arietty.
