Oh my... That’s a very hard question! I love Howl’s Moving Castle✨ I also love Spirited Away, the story is gorgeous. But I also looove Kiki Delivery Service, the scenery of the towns are to die for! And omg Ponyo is adorable😭 I get really excited when it comes to Studio Ghibli films. They are such precious works of art😌

@@melelconquistador I'm a 10th (15) grader in high school, and I am just looking up colleges in japan that I would be able to go to. Colleges in japan are a lot cheaper than how much they are in my area so going there would benefit a lot . My point is that if you're around my age or college age maybe try looking for scholarships and applying for schools in Japan (don't worry there is a lot of schools that offer classes in English too!) (also ALSO sorry for typing so much)

For some reason my definition of "living my studio ghibli dreams" was "moving to rural Japan and renovating an old farm house" but like this footage was so gorgeous I don't mind you didn't rebuild anything or find magic creatures in the woods. Time for me to reload duolingo and prepare for a trip to Japan, so glad this popped up in my recommended I am in love

I hope this question doesn't upset anyone, but I'll be in Korea soon and was wondering if there's anywhere that would have a similar vibe as Yufuin that I could make a day trip out of?

My favourite is Whisper of the heart. I feel a strong connection with the main character, her love of reading and her journey of learning what she wants to do with her life. I've been in her footsteps many times and it holds one of my favourite picturesque scenes in all of the Ghibli movies. It also has one of my favourite effects of Ghibli movies, where the movie makes you slow down, take stock of the world, the trees, the grass the houses and the animals and people and history that make up a place. (Which I can happily see is gorgeously depicted in your video) It turns a normal day into an adventure through time and people's lives and habits by looking at simple objects and observing the wear, care and transformation or absence of them. It's a wonderous experience. The only other film I think does this better is the secret world of Arietty.
