Nicki, Carlo and the people of the mountains are some very hardy folks. Daily life walking the stairs and pathways, carrying provisions is hard work. I know it is a healthier lifestyle but not too many people could handle it. Another excellent video. Thank you both for showing us a slice of heaven.

Yes, many elderly people have to end up moving from the Almafi Coasts higher regions because they can't handle all the stairs but it is sooooo beautiful there. Should be on everyone's bucket list. Do it while you're younger.

This was such a cool vlog. It was like you were hiking in the heavens. It reminded me a lot of when I was in my 20s (over 30 years ago) and a French friend of mine took me with her to a friend’s home above the town of Annecy, France in the Alps. This woman’s mountain home was amazing and we drank all kinds of herbal liquors made from the mountain plants. We also hiked up the mountains where a man was making cheese in a shed, where he happily shared it with us. It’s one of those memories you don’t forget. I really enjoy people that live off the land and make delicious, natural food. ❤

I love all of your videos but this one was particularly incredibly enjoyable. Indie’sher herding instincts with the goats was a gem to watch, the incredible steep cliff path walk, the family with their homemade goodies and I especially loved the music that went so well with these marvelous scenes. I can’t think of enough great things to say. Here in Vermont it is so satisfying to see another part of the world that is taking it easy and participating in the basic great joys of life which are, a good walk, family and friends and animals, homemade foods and spirits! Good morning 🌄🌞 regarding your hat soft pinks and yellows are so pretty & match so well with your coat. You do look lovely . Fiats are great cars! My dad bought one for us as a teenager, part of the training! Truly interesting to watch Indie instinctively round up those goats. Your visit with Elizabeth was interesting. How long is the memory bank of a chicken 🐔? You certainly must miss the availability of farm fresh eggs. I miss seeing the little girls. The visit @ two other spots was an adventure that put your walk home time consuming. The 'mountain men' have such self-sufficient lives. They appreciated your visit. True Italian hospitality. Happy you finally got home after such a full day! We have had above-average weather ☁️ with very little snow 🌨️.. However the ice lingers on! Lots of sun when it is allowed to shine so few hours. It is + 3 ° C and it is 11: 22 am. Much of North America is going to watch the Super Bowl at 4:30 mountain standard-an American football Classic finale. Rihanna is doing the halftime show. As I have aged, a fear of heights has become apparent. I couldn't crawl where you walk. And yet I jumped out of perfectly good aircraft when in my early twenties. Even stood happily on lowered tail ramp at ridiculous heights. Now I break into a sweat watching you... Fab vid, great music, thanks and blessings.

I’m always glued to the screen when you feature videos of the terraces and rock walls. I also appreciate Carlo’s explanation of the water reservoir and aqueduct, providing water to the town(s) below. Seeing Indie with the goats brought back a fond memory. We had a Border Collie when our girls were little. During a birthday party with about ten little girls, we heard barking and shrieking coming from outside. Our dog had rounded up the girls by barking and running circles around them to keep them corralled! Haha

Carlo disappearing reminded me of when I was young and newly married. After a year or two away from my family my mom came to visit me in San Diego, CA. She stayed for about a week. Come Saturday my husband excused himself to go to store to pickup a pack of cigarettes and was away for hours. My mom was like "Where did he go?" "Does he disappear often?" I laughed cause I was use to it. I had to explain that he goes to record shops all around town looking for music LP's. Remember when music shops were a thing? I never complained when he was away. lol

Hello Carlo and Nicki, nice to see Elizabeth but to think she was going to have to get the supplies up on her own what a job that would have been without your help. Funny to see how Indie’s instincts kicked in with the goats she did an excellent job. Im guessing the walk home took a little longer than two hours it was quite a ways home but so glad you made it before dark. Walking that path in the dark would be very scary. Indie and Holly did very well considering she has such little legs so no wonder they crashed when they got home. Hope you didn’t have to wait too long for Carlo to get home from Luca’s so you could eat your sandwich but you know Carlo when he gets chatting with people lol! Lovely video as usual thank you❤️
