Of all the homesteaders on YT, you two seem to be the happiest with your chosen lifestyle. Every lifestyle requires compromises of some sort. For you, these are things that can test one's commitment to off-grid living, but you always seem positive and determined to make it work.. You might consider putting your drying rack(s) on pulleys, so you don't have to risk a fall by climbing on anything to hang laundry. Just lower the rack, load it them raise it back up above head height. Worth a thought, anyway. Falls are my nemesis!

I am so envious of your lifestyle and love your homestead set up. Mr. Hilder hit the nail on the head with his comment about listening to the people who are living it. 90% or more of what people read about how to do things is geared to SELLING people things we don't need. Unfortunately masses of people in this country have lost the ability to think for themselves. Instead they believe it's EASIER to be led around like sheep and follow the heard. I am working very hard to break that chain in my life and live a simpler more healthy and rewarding life. Thank you for your channel and inspiration. I hope you two have a wonderful and rewarding new year.

I usually don't comment, but I found your channel and love your shows. I chose this one to comment on because I liked the honesty. You are opening your life and lifestyle out to the world and I appreciate that. I love the gardening methods and have learned some good tips that I can't wait to try when the weather is ready. However as a blogger and writer, I get the comments stress. I had a cheesecake recipe that went viral and it had four ingredients. It was a family recipe and just shared because I thought other people might enjoy it. Do you know I got cursed out for that? For a cheesecake recipe and I couldn't imagine the amount of madness you guys get. Sharing your life is personal and I think many would feel different if the lens was turned around. It's brave to put it all out there and the subject matter couldn't be better. I hope the small percentage of negative don't get to you both. Looking forward to more garden videos. Seeing the results in your videos is amazing and so encouraging! Such a great energy.God Bless.
