Today in Solo Female VanLife I try to live off grid. This is my lowest day in van life. I couldn't find a toilet, so I'm faced with a decision. Do I poop in a plastic sack?

You can buy a toilet seat that fits on top of a pail, (like a home Depot pail),line pail with plastic bag , do your business, after put plastic bag in a large sip lock freezer bag ( to kill some of the smell) till you find a garbage can.

Porta Potti 320P. I had it on the boat and the van. Only used it ones 😅. They also have the 260B smaller version. Carrying and emptying, I know. But I think is worth having one. Travel safe

Hi Dana! As you have mentioned you might need to get a new Jackery, I just wanted to suggest it may be worth contacting Jackery and its competitors (like EcoFlow and Bluetti) and ask them to give you for free their power stations with solar panels so you can test and review them, and then share your opinions on your channel. This way you can get a decent product for free and us, your followers, will get your honest opinion! Your channel is already considerably big for power station makers to do so. I'm suggesting it because I follow quite few van life you tubers in states, and some of them with way less subscribers than you get those stations sent to them for free. I thought it might be a great way for you to get a good product you can rely on and save your money $$$ Lots of love from UK!

I’ve always wanted someone to write a country song about “ weight loss” and “heartbreak”….. something with all the ways to loose weight, like Keto, Palio, Mediterranean etc etc etc….. but actually , somehow loosing weight…. I am a mix of Polish and Celtic , I grow up in Wales with a Manchester born Mum and a Welsh Dad, but my birth family where Irish / Polish, being adopted as a tiny tot I have no memory of them. Where you get the photos out and remember those who have gone their lives and stories, my Nanna wow she had stories, I might shar them with you at some point . I think it's important to remember that while you are on these adventures you are also still working and doing all of the things it takes to live life. Meaning it's not all fun. If you were living in an apartment in a city somewhere, you likely wouldn't get to go out and do mini adventures daily and the same is true when doing van life. It's not a permanent vacation it's life. Also, pooping in a bag is really not that big of a deal as long as you are hygienic about it and dispose of relatively soon after. Leave the bag outside by the trailer hitch not in the car or trailer. 😃

I travel in a Rav4 4wd, and have a thetford cassette toilet.... Inside the car and it works wonderful like a regular toilet with water to flush. I re-designed my build this year and have the commode in the car for when it is raining as well as a sink with running water and tiny grey tank....all in my little Rav4......and gets great gas mileage. Get a Thetford port potty....about $150 on amazon.....sometimes walmart carries them in their RV section in automotive.... My heritage is Native American, Euroasian, with a little basque thrown in there and mixed with a little scottish and Irish....a real big mix.....So glad to see you in a Happy place....I think most musicians are more to themselves a lot....We still have friends and mingle, but then we retreat back into our creative space. There are 100s of portable toilet options on Amazon; camp chairs with toilet seats, bucket loos, bedpans, chemical toilets, expensive composting toilets (waste of money; bucket toilets are basically composting toilets).

Definitely get an RV. They do leak if you get a regular one, so spending a bit more money for a fiberglass one is best. But if you can't spend that much, getting a heavy-duty cover for the top of it is good. Mold and leaking are common complaints, but if you cover the top and open the doors and windows, you shouldn't have an issue. The fact that it has everything inside is great. Can even get a murphy bed so you dont take up space
