surprized your not catching humbolt squids cuz there very popular there in the sea of cortez! So beware and keep an eye on the pup dog.
@TheSailingBisonАй бұрын
We’ve read about the squids, but haven’t seen any! Would be cool 👀

Do you not worry about Cartels around those resort areas?
@TheSailingBisonАй бұрын
Not particularly. There's a fairly substantial network of cruisers in the Sea of Cortez. If something wasn't safe, word would get around. We always do our best to be respectful of the places we visit, and, as one does while traveling in foreign countries, stay acutely aware of our surroundings.

Try some different bait

Our feather lures were working well, but alas they were both taken by greedy Mahi 😞 looking forward to re-building our tackle box this season so we can actually catch something worth eating lol
