I just finished watching from beginning to the very end. That is a real bummer that your car AC went out. Of course it never fails that it would be at the hottest time of the year. Then again it is no doubt because it is being used so much more at that time. Over all I would say that you're still doing very well. I am glad that you were able to get your car AC fixed. It's too bad you guys are too far away because my husband has fixed the AC a number of times on cars. We even have an air conditioned garage to do it in. He is my emergency fund because he can fix all the car issues.

Dang that’s really unfortunate. It’s fixed now, apparently it never broke the second time, the pressure in the system got too high and the car released the Freon or something like that? Idk graham said it made sense.

I think it’s good you slowed down posting but kept going I tried to post 3 times a week and that put so much pressure on me that I ended up not posting for 4 months and now starting to get back on track but without the pressure of regular posting days. I know it’s better to post regularly but still once a week is better than nothing

Great content. It kind of sucks about the A/C on the Audi. My parents have a VW and the A/C went out on it after moving to the southwest in the middle of the summer (115 degree weather). We luckily had an extended warranty and only had to pay a $200 deductible to have everything fixed. An emergency fund is really good thing to have for those situations. Hopefully, it gets fixed properly soon.

I spent 3 weeks in Phoenix with no AC in my car and it was nothing unless you were stopped for over 30 seconds. I definitely hate Midwest humidity without AC way more.

Why aren't you counting housing costs? You can change calculations from accountant to economics (just add opportunity costs). Like monthly rent of your house /30 days.

I live in my fiancé’s house and he doesn’t charge me rent. I do pay for other things but he’s not comfortable making a profit off of me when I make so much less than him. Especially when we moved states for him. I do pay other things, like all of the groceries, half of the phone bill, and generally everything for all of the car that we both use (except occasionally if something really expensive pops up he will offer to chip in).

You can't cool down dogs down by pouring water over them. Dogs can't sweat so you have to put their paws in cold water or wipe them with rubbing alcohol to help dissipate heat

Not the mortgage as I'm not on the loan or deed but different house bills, yes. Some of them after I left my job and my income went down Graham didn't want me paying but I got the groceries. I also do half of the phone bill, the exterminator, the housekeeper (she doesn't come on a regular interval so I didn't include it), and a few other things I know I'm forgetting.

Yes. Apparently the pressure in the AC system got too high with the heat and stop and go traffic and the car had this release to let out the Freon? Idk made sense to graham. They cleaned out part of it to reduce the load on the system and calibrated it to be able to handle higher temperatures. No clue if I explained this right but it hasn’t acted up since that Thursday

A combination! I’ll still have mine and he will still have his but we will have a joint account for household expenses

My wife and I maintain separate accounts, because a bank locked her out multiple times for fraud alerts (nothing that she did) and then wouldn’t even allow her to withdraw money in person. We’re authorized users on our credit cards and trust each other, just not the banks. A friend of mine maintains multiple accounts and he’s single, just in case of fraud or other issues.
