Your time out and choices are all making sense; change as good as a holiday is one way to look at it, but also it is very healthy individually and as a couple to let 'the winds flow between', following your own paths while supporting and sharing. Housing sales are very different in the UK. In the states, the house is listed at the asking price. If you pull a sale for more money, often times the seller will owe the real estate agent(s) a bit of money [anywhere from 3 to 10%] depending on how the contract us set up.
