You had a very good set up but these latest tweaks make it even better. Love how minimalistic and organised it all is.

We too took out the back seats of the BT 50 and David put a lockable, sturdy box there for all the detecting gear. Heaps of storage on top if needed. I’ll send you some pics.

Just great to see you two back out in the outdoors again. I really missed your videos and detecting prowess. After watching your last video about scrapping and clearing an area to detect, I decided to do this on my last trip to Tarnagulla with my new GPX 6000. After a lot of lead shots, I found a .38-gram nuggie. This way of detecting is a far better way to go. It's hard work but very easy to detect the ground properly. Thanks again for sharing your trips and I love the way you have your set up. PS watch out for those mosquitoes!! They made a mess of me at Tarnagulla even with all the protection I had on Cheers Ray Mann

Thanks Ray, Just got back from Kingower… got swarmed by mozzies after the rain lately. All the holes were filled with water and the ground saturated, picked up a few small bits so happy.

Always enjoy your videos Kevin and Eliza. Just wondering where you keep your detecting gear safely? Cheers Leanne

It wouldn’t be safe if I tell everyone :) Tbh, they are only in the car when we are nearby, so security isn’t a big issue.

Looks pretty good Kevin, double bed is a great change. I must admit, I wondered how comfortable you were with the single bed. I'd also like to know where the window vents came from Kevin? cheers

Thanks Neil, the double bed is so much better, as for the window vents… that’s my most asked question. Unfortunately the manufacturer of ours is now out of business. There are other similar ones online if you google but these are exceptional.

Why don't you use a rooftop tent much easier more room to sleep.
@BKGoldDetecting2 жыл бұрын
We actually love sleeping in the car, and as we move frequently whilst prospecting we don’t have the issue of packing wet canvas if it’s rained or heavy dew. Each to their own but we much prefer the bed in the back of the 4wd.
