It looks so beautiful and I tell you what, if you move your curtains to about an inch below ceiling, it will draw the eye up and this room is going to look very high end. I did it throughout my home after trying to convince my husband that it's the correct thing to do in designing your interior (he's old fashioned and doesn't understand/thinks rod should hang on the frame 😊) and I did have to buy new curtains at a longer length but it looks so much better!! 😊❤️❤️ Your room is gorgeous though

I did this 2 years ago on my accent wall. Its all white and really brightened up the space. The rest of the walls are a light grey with lower half white shiplap. I love it!!❤

Yes, big regret of mine when we originally hung the rods I wish I went higher. Changing them is a pain because our walls are plaster! Maybe someday 😂🙂
