The sofa looks gorgeous 🥰 so do the cushions. They give it a rich warm feel. Paint the legs a dark wood 👍 I would put a big mirror above the fireplace it will make the room look bigger. Also maybe turn the dining table round to give more space.

The sofa cover is amazing and the cushions finish the whole look. Definitely put a mirror in between the wreaths it will give you more light. It’s nice to have a swap around refreshes everything and clears the mind Love the radiator cleaning tip going to have a go !!!

The Sofa is Fun, you have all kinds of colours to work with for pillows, go full on English Country Garden, a couple of lavender lattice work pillows and a Big Butterfly pillow, get that 'sitting in a buttercup' feeling, LOL !!!!!

You've made a wicker wreath so make one but don't close the circle and leave it a little shaggy with thin twisted willow so it looks like spring flowers sprouting from branches

Sofa looks like an antique now with the new cover , the gold pop in the cushions match the picture frames too . Looks lovely . Like the radiator hack too so simple . I just knew you would go for this cover and oh my what a super look. I love the cushions, just the right amount of contrast. I agree with some of the other subscribers that a fancy mirror would set off your mantelpiece, I am perhaps biased as I have mirrors everywhere, they do make a room look bigger and lighter I find. Love the map. I have an antique Stanford's Map of the Metropolis and Suburbs 1872 which I inherited from my mum. She got it from a charity shop for 50p! And she had it framed. Loved the story of your map and all your finds. Your kittens are leaving their scent on the new sofa covers. Cats always have to leave their scent on new things. Their sense of smell is more attuned than ours. They use it to find their way home. Mine likes to do it to the clean washing!

Yes I would darken the legs on the sofa, love the covers make the room more cosy. But I think putting a mirror over the fireplace would finish your room off. I wish I could change my room around lol, but I’m hoping when I’m feeling better I shall give my living room a good spring clean always makes you feel better lol. I think cushions finish the sofa off. X

The joy of Ikea sofas is that their original covers are (mainly) machine washable. Wash like a dream, mine are white and are still white after twelve years. Sofas bought as a stop-gap twelve years ago and are still in daily use! …… and tgecovers are still white

I found a beautiful vintage embroidered linen tablecloth which I drape over the back of my sofa to hide the threaded artwork. Thanks for the video. Take care Gale🙏

Hello from Canada :) It really does look a totally brand new sofa!!!! I love that cover - great choice!! I noticed you have a pretty little stained glass window on the shelf below the TV. It's really hidden there and you can't see how pretty and charming it is. What about suspending it (using hooks and chain) inside of one of your windows so it can dazzle you? Or it is possible to hang it on the wall with a small LED light behind it, the type with a remote control? Perhaps get a second one and hang them on each side of your fireplace. Love when you show us Pumpkin & Mittens. Take care.

Oh my goodness; the sofa looks fabulous!!! I love the new cover, it looks like a brand new sofa. Re the kitties and their scratching, have you thought about getting them a scratching pole? My daughter has a cat; she got him two scratching poles, which eliminated the problem with him scratching her furniture.

You can buy a radiator brush to push through the tube parts of the radiator they're like bottle brushes but for radiators. The one I got is about 50cm long 😃🐈🌻🤗

You can get some anti kitty scratch spray from pet shops 😀 also for my new lounge I bought the clear contact to put up the arms from eBay they really work and you can’t see them on the couch 🤷🏻‍♀️ also get a scratching post kittys will love and will leave your lovely sofa alone 😳
