I don't agree with you that the clients old place was "terrible" before. It was just filled with outdated trendy items from 4 years ago, but it was styled beautifully. Tbh, some of the new items in the updated look will become untrendy in about 4 years from now. You did an awesome job though. Great video. Love everything CB2!!❤❤❤

@@zamo9266 agree!! The issue is everyone styling their place according to the latest trends as opposed to styling it the way you love from your heart. I wouldn’t care if something I loved4 years ago is now deemed outdated according to latest trends as long as I am enjoying it. But to each his own.

Don't like it, that living room could have looked a lot nicer, for what the client paid, for the scale of the living room, it seems like everything is still on the smaller side, nothing really matches, and it doesn't look cohesive,

Usually love your content. But here’s my pet peeve of design: the searingly ubiquitous Hermes blanket. I get it, they’re expensive. They’re beyond pretentious and even if you have H as an initial, tacky and sad. ❤

This is a great improvement over the previous arrangement. It is not minimalist, but its beauty is unadorned. It has a contrast between curvy and straight lines and enough variation in shades and textures to be interesting. . While I assume most of the items were chosen primarily for aesthetic reasons, everything is practical and not too fussy for a family with children and pets. Lastly, while the overall effect might be "spare no expense," the furnishings are reasonably priced considering the quality. Very tastefully done!

The transformation is beautiful but it doesn’t appear the new colonial at all to me. I love wicker and rattan and would love to transform my home with more of that but for now my home is traditional with updates.

I do not understand why people cannot get that Interior Designers are there to help and advise clients to create their dream homes, we make suggestions etc but it is ultimately up to the client to decide what it is they will purchase for their home, that is why its their dream home and not the designers!!

I love most everything about NT, some of the best interior design contents and her lines of rugs and wallpapers. Having first watched her later videos, this makeover was a little underwhelming. The before, I agree was really bad. The after, albeit an improvement did not deliver a wow factor. Perhaps because of budgetary constraints designer has to work with but the finished product still appears sparse and lacking in cosiness. I do wish there are less promotion of “Amazon Finds”.

I would be disappointed with the look as a client. Cohesive? Maybe. But looks very staged, too modern and not lived in. For the family and guests there are only 5 comfortable spaces to sit on. Bench looks like filling the space as well and as a marble stool. Sorry, not the best of yours.

Hi Marina thank you so much for your input. Believe it or not this is the smaller of their living rooms. There is an enormous giant family room that has two sectional sofas that seat at a minimum 10 people per section. Hence we wanted this space to be slightly cozier and different from the enormous gathering spaces with large televisions you would be used to seeing. Thank you for watching and for your input. ❤️
