If you are considering painting your house ...don't try save money on cheaper alternatives this paint will stay true to the initial swatch for many years to come without scuffing. Unless you are on a really tight budget...as their smallest cans is about £20. Also love the advise in store for colour matching. Just finished restoring an old chair using their paint - it applied like a dream.

Love the color of the walls ! With the tv, you might think of moving the mirror to one of the blank walls and mounting it over the fireplace but hide it behind a piece of art that is made to move so you can watch it. Great job!

Love the use of colour and the fireplace. Perhaps if you move the sofa a bit ahead, away from the wall, the conversation area would look more appealing. A couple of big paintings would complete the look.

Absolutely love the color and mood of the room. The only thing that I believe is that there are too many flowers and plants around the fireplace, which distracts from the beauty of the fireplace. But you did a great job otherwise!

Its lovely! Just need some prints / frames / art work on the walls . I'd get rid of the vases with false flowers in , creates too much ground clutter and the real plants are beautiful

Probably would have painted the radiators the same as the walls so they blend instead of sticking out.

It wasn't possible because the radiators are powder painted and they can't be painted over the top of that. I wanted that too 😕

I love F&B but I had to resort to having the colours copied for coverage reasons , 1 to 2 coats against up to 5 for F&B !!! and given the huge cost of the F&B paint against the copy there is no discussion !

@@SallyFazeli Hello, I did read an article the other day about F&B and how after a lot of bad press from Professional painters they doubled the amount of pigment they put in their paint, si I assume my problems came before this addition. I have always used F&B as their colours are amazing and the head of the Paris store is a friend.

Remove the shelf unit and use in another room. Remove everything on the mantle. The decorative items are all too small. Take the vases from the floor next to the chair and group on mantle either side of mirror. Get rid of all the decorative items on the wall unit. They are too tiny. Use less decorative items. Decorative items need to be taller in a room like that.

Sally Fazeli I completely disagree. The bookshelf creates depth and interest behind the chair. And the fact that the decor is grouped and within a vignette of the larger mirror, it works imo. Xx

I wonder if she could just move the shelf unit to the plain wall (where she wanted to do a gallery wall). That would give some height to that side of the room and allow the beautiful gold floor lamp to stand out, with the little side tables between the fireplace and chair. (The shelves could still be simplified a little bit.)
