We are so fortunate that Kay Graham write her autobiography before she passed away. What an incredible, inspirational life.

I’m currently re-reading Ms. Graham’s Pulitzer Prize winning autobiography and enjoy hearing her descriptions of such an extraordinary life.

I bought the book years ago and skipped immediately to the Pentagon/Watergate chapters, then only recently read the whole book. It's an amazing memoir, painful to read at times but compelling! She really had an earthy quality to have been comfortable in the often coarse world of newspapers, considering her highly privileged upbringing.

Meryl Streep could play any role. But, casting Mrs. Streep to play Mrs. Graham (such wonderful human) borders on the divine.
This Wonderful lady is firstly an honest incredible humble person. It’s understandable that she was insecure and under immense emotional pressure when she became the publisher of post . But her inner strength and superb intellect woke up under these circumstances. And the amazing point is, it didn’t change her emotional connection to the post and her family. She remained the way she was . Absolutely wonderful and incredible and remarkable. Human . Her sex had nothing to do with her decisions. Only the men had problems with her being a woman. Dick heads :)

That’s a pretty big part of her and the posts history…. It’s weird because you know who he is and it’s pretty publicized that he shot himself.
