This entire project is extremely encouraging. A young NBA player (which is a stratosphere many dream of but only a few reach) who is stepping out boldly to have conversations that pretty much everyone is curious about but are too afraid to have with one another. That takes a ton of courage. Thank you for doing this. That first JOY (Jesus Others Yourself) line was a bar 🙏🏻

Keep it up MPJ. I really value these videos and have gotten a lot out of them. I also respect what you have to say about your faith, because it’s not necessarily common. Especially as a professional athlete. Always a dream of mine to meet you in person, maybe one day I’ll be able to…. Continue doing your thing

God bless her literally such a beautiful soul with such a joyful contagious laugh 🤍 Hearing her story & how she lives life it is so humbling. Listening to her inspires me to one appreciate & be grateful for what I do have and two to just live life & not let the temptations/negativity of this world effect how I view life. I aspire to live as joyful as her and to have a long faith based relationship as her & Fred have. Wow this was so humbling I needed to hear this.

Love Nancy! Great episode. Looking forward to Season 2 guests and episodes. Proud of what you're doing here Mike. Stuff like this makes being a Nuggets fan even more rewarding. It's not just what the players are doing on the court, it's seeing and hearing that they are quality men off the court. I may never know a Denver Nugget player personally, and that's just fine, yet they are like family to me. So it's hard when a member of that family gets traded or moves on, but I still cheer for them at their new location. MPJ fan for life.

Aunt Nancy’s laugh IS joy! Great idea with her closet inventory management program. I’m sure any Boys & Girls Club would be thrilled to receive quality clothing and shoes sized to fit their taller students. I imagine those sizes are tough to find/afford for families on a tight budget 💛

God is good all the time and All the time God is good. This is wonderful episode you guys talked about. Looking forward to see more of this kinda video. People need to hear/see this kind of message and share more of gospel. If you have a chance you should invite Tim Tebow & Jeremy Lin. Not disappointed if you have them in your show!
@marcogomez27363 жыл бұрын
When this lovely lady mentioned what a challenge would be to "say, try and live with $3,000 USD a month" It made me think how not only people does not know much on how people live, outside their social circle, but also ignores what the reality of other countries and regions is. $3,000 USD a month is the equivalent to roughly $60,000 mexican "pesos" our national currency here in Mexico, and is the average salary of management positions, or what people with good jobs in the petroleum or IT industries make a month. That a senior person sees making that amount of money as a challenging situation, shows the huge gap there is between the opportunities and lifestyle between those who have little and those who have a lot. It was a great video, the fact that someone like MPJ, a great professional athlete, with all the money in the world, fame and been so young is curious about these things talks about the great person he is

You wanting to see what it's like live off nothing is privilege in itself, because if you actually were in that position where you had nothing you wouldn't want to live that way. That's something the rich do simply because they can. I would imagine poor people would take offense to that. I know what you mean though MPJ I know where you come from is true and genuine. I think the better approach is to just have perspective, you don't need to experience it to understand it and know how bad it is and to be able to be so grateful for what you have. Love you bro

You're a good dude, Michael. Glad you have these amazing people in your life for support. Thanks for sharing this and looking forward to watching the rest. Speaking for myself, it gets old sometimes consuming superficial content from so many professional athletes/influencers. Good to see the real side once in a while. So easy to root for this team with guys like you, Jok, Markus, Bones, Zeke, Mal and allllll the rest. Stay well.

Stay or not with Jokic (Jokic fan fyi frustrated post up bballer) still will support you in life because of your character MPJ but maybe root against you in basketball if you leave Jokic just because you want more than 180 million dollars for 5 years but I would understand if Denver ownership and tim connelly gets cheap and not pay you at least 140 million dollars for 5 years i would understand and would not be mad at you Bro.
