Overtime I know Mike will get better at intros & topic transitions but he does a great job at actually allowing guests to speak 👏🏽.

This was a very interesting video ! I believe that the spirit and the mind go together. That is why God tells us to renew our minds daily. These battles of inconsistency, depression, anxiety are a manifestation of the enemies daily work to push us off course of God’s will for life. It is in seasons of pruning that God works out our flesh so that we learn the enemies tactics against us. He tells us not to be foolish towards the enemies devices. Satan does not take a day off but is continuously seeking, waiting, watching and plotting. I know you didn’t ask for my opinion but overtime certain inconsistencies will be no more as you grow in God.

Galatians 5:17 “For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.” Just as Paul’s ‘thorn’ (inconsistency) was not removed, God may use our ‘inconsistencies’ for His greater purposes for His glory. Yet He does not see our flesh (inconsistencies) as man does He sees His perfect Son In us. In THIS, His Son we can find rest for our weary souls. Thank you Jesus.

God bless you brother. Keep your eyes on things above Micheal, on Christ, for He Is our life. He will provide rest for our soul. Soul-heart, mind, emotions. Thank you Father for Micheal and Dr. Amen thank you for your faith for Life and rest In you. In Jesus name Amen 👆🏼🙏♥️

This might've been my favorite episode yet. If Dr. Amen is back on for a follow up episode, I'd like to hear more specifically about how to heal the areas of the brain that get identified as unhealthy in the brain scan.

@@eastcoastybk6778 not necessarily a meal plan. I just thought it might be beneficial to hear Dr. Amen's perspective on the top foods for the prefrontal cortex, cerebellum, etc.

I wonder if Dr. Amen and Dr. Caroline Leaf have ever spoken or worked together. She’s a Christian neuroscientist who shares similar sentiments about the brain, except she emphasizes how the mind (thoughts, feelings, desires) controls the structure of the brain. Loved this episode!

Good topic. I think it should be noted that the digestive tract is known as the second brain and can figure things out before your logical brain while operating independently of the big brain, so I like how he talks about what you eat being important for brain health. I haven't had a brain scan for a long time, but it would be interesting and kind of scary to do again. I've had two brain surgeries and multiple head injuries, so I find these talks interesting.

America needs more professional mental health therapy. But a gigantic crutch for the majority of the people is affordability. Most people just can't afford $150-200 for an hour of therapy or treatment.
