Hi I'm Loui! I am an adventurer at heart who loves to share every step of the way. My travels so far ,via camper van, jeep camper, and foot, have taken me all over North America. I started this channel in 2019 in hopes of inspiring other people like me who didn't exactly grow up living an adventurous lifestyle and who might be afraid to get started on their own adventures. I met a women in florida who is the top real estate agent in a particular rich county. She makes $50-70k a month off of deals and let me tell you. She was so depressed and robotic she had two drinks and went on a weird rant on how she works 24/7 7 days a week and not to do what she does cuz it isn't worth it but it pays for her family and her house. It's not for everyone. Us adventurers value our feelings over monetary wealth and that's perfectly fine.

When you are living in the woods there's no alot of time to just waste. Yes there is plenty of time to catch a buzz...solitude is actually a really good thing when you can just be comfortable in silence.

Good job being honest with yourself and us. It's wonderful that you reached out for help, family and community. I think we all need a connection and need to spend time with those we love. I’ve been living in my SUV since January. One major thing I’ve been trying to figure out lately is how to reduce my daily chores. Things like Solar & cooking…I’ve just been trying to to figure out some systems to reclaim my time so I can focus on things that are not basic survival.

I lost my mom in April. My whole life changed after that and I did question everything I had thought prior, so this video was quite significant to me in many ways, and I can relate too, to much of what you've said. I'm so glad you overcame with a smile on your face, and the desire in your heart to start again. I wish you the very best. I'm 63 and I too am beginning again, and it's okay. 😉 My sincere, deepest sympathies on a loss of your dad. And like you I know I will never stop grieving. Hug ❤

OH, darlin! I have often asked myself the same thing. The good thing is you have not stopped growing and are not afraid to keep pushing thru to the other side. You are only guilty of living your life to the fullest, Who cares if we don''t fit in. We all have our ups and downs. I have benn swettled for 4 months and I will be honest, I miss my van but I can't afford to travel right now. I sometimes think it makes sense to stop and work for a year or so and plan the next adventure. What is amazing is that you are able to take a breath and understand yourself and your needs. Be who you are in your moment and sometimes you just jump! Many people do not know themselves so well at all. Happy Adventuring, Loui & Wilson!!

Loved this; one of the greatest lessons I’ve learned as a 30 something woman is that societal expectations of how I should live my life aren’t my business. Spent years thinking I had to be in a relationship, get married, have kids etc. I love kids but I know I don’t want to be a parent, and don’t really care to be in a relationship either. Once I stopped caring about expectations put on women I started to just enjoy single life, living alone, putting my energy into my close circle of friends and my family. If the desire to have those things ever changes then I’ll follow that feeling, but it hasn’t for many years now and there’s nothing wrong with that. Live your life for you! Also, in this economy and housing crisis, living in your car is just SMART. Glad you’ve figured out what you want and how to do it!

As an immigrant the most bizarre thing is seeing all the American women saying exactly the same thing - that they are going to "reject" what society expects of them by being little revolutionaries, "strong and independent". Education and career instead of the slavery of being a wife and mother. But this is exactly the incessant propaganda American culture is preaching to them. Getting married and having children as a teenager like I did would be the rejection of the cultural zeitgeist in America. I LOVED keeping a home and caring for my family and I took nothing but vicious verbal abuse from American women for it. How shameful it was to depend on a man. How I never "made anything" of myself. In one sentence I was this poor ignorant sub-human that didn't know any better and the next sentence just a dirty prostitute. It's crazy seeing all the girls following the cultural norms but insisting they are rejecting them. It's like a cult where they have memorized their propaganda lines, but are incapable of seeing their hypocrisy. And being debt-free with a paid off home while investing in stocks, US Treasuries, real estate, and precious metals is a lot smarter than living in a car.

I can understand why you quit, and yes inflation kills a lot of adventures. My condolences on your loss, and you definitely have to have a strong mental fortitude to be able to deal with most things that come a long with living on the road. Being on the road and trying to grieve is kinda like running away from it, yes you have time to think about it, but you have so much on your mind when you're trying to concentrate on where to go and what to do.

There's a video here on KZbin it's 37 minutes long the guy in the thumbnails got on a red Hawaiian shirt. It has helped me more in the last 2 years manifest the things in my life that I want than anything I've ever heard listen to Red or watched. Sorry to hear about your dad just know that at your happiest moments when you're at your highest vibration the veil is the thinnest. When you're down and grieving you're nowhere near the frequency where he is. People who are mediums and such vibrate at a very high frequency which is how they're able to connect with those on the other side. But you'll be more able to hear and feel him when you're not down and sad.

WOW ! YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL IN YOUR OUTLOOK AND YOURSELF. So glad you attached yourself to Simon's video. Now I have 2 people who are BEAUTIFUL in every way. Foresty is always picking-up other people's messes and clearing wLking trails. We need to get you PAID. That way we won't lose you. When my mom and dad passed within a year after I had cared for them for 13 years, I went bonkers. Depressed too. Super SAD ! So, you realized that you will never stop grieving. That's ok if you can be "down " with that. I worked for a month and camped and traveled fir 30 days. Kept repeating for a year. Then realized that, that was the rest of my life. On 30, off 30. My Golden Retriever seemed like she liked that better. They get very nervous if they think they are going to be left. Once we couldn't get her out of the trunk. We opened it to get the suitcases and duffels out. She jumped in and wouldn't budge. Glad you know how you can "off road " now.
