Hey! Love the timer setup for the shower but I don't understand it haha. Do you have a guide to how you rigged that?
@Mrandmrsadventure5 жыл бұрын
We plan to do a video incorporating electrical in the future. It's rigged like the other plugs on the 120v circuit and the timer works like any normal switch wiring. The timer is great for regulating the water heater, however, the heater itself has an auto on/off that is regulated based on the temperature you want the water to heat to. We have our set around 118 degrees and the heater will heat water all the way to 144 degrees. Hope this helps! 😊
@FlyingCameraGuy5 жыл бұрын
How long do you set the timer for on the water heater? How many amps does it use during that time? How many gallons is your heater? I have been looking for a way go get hot water for our van and I think this might just work.
@Mrandmrsadventure5 жыл бұрын
Bob Jensen yes, it’s amazing. It depends on the ambient temperature of the water for how long it needs to run to heat it, but less than 20 minutes so that’s what we nearly always set the timer to and then we have 2.5 gallons of hot amazing water to play with 🤗 Here’s a link to our exact heater: amzn.to/2UGqGdp

Sounds like we need to make a video of what we eat in a day, but basically Drew eats anything, loves his veggies and fruits, but is happy to indulge in a fresh creme-filled pastry whenever life gifts him with the opportunity to do so... like this morning + a cinnamon roll 🥰 And I have had allergies most of my life + a personal history on which I will share a video on one day, but I was vegan for a year back in 2014 but when I developed allergy induced asthma I had to quit gluten and eventually decided it was too much to have to avoid/give up. So while I choose veg meals as often as I can, I will have meat if/why my body needs it or when I'm just craving a juicy burger to hold because I finally found a place with gluten-free burger buns 😂 Also, I barely drink alcohol ever, flairs up my asthma. Thank you for asking! We will have to do a what we eat in a day video eventually.

@Mrandmrsadventure5 жыл бұрын
$30, yessss. You can park along other parts of the same road for free, but it's forbidden from like 9pm-9am or so. But at least it was only $30, we've been so blown away by the cost of campgrounds out here. In Carpinteria we were just looking at the price of a campground by the beach for curiosity and it was $80-90 a night! And the KOA in San Diego = $50 the first night and $90 every night after! Just wild.

The van life niche is over saturated, the van life couple niche is oversaturated...be different in some way. Be unique....this is a tired, poorly executed copy of other channels and it doesnt work. I think you guys are fun and can be interesting to watch but this formula isnt it.
@Mrandmrsadventure5 жыл бұрын
We believe every couple doing vanlife has there own experiences and way of doing things. I guess we should have honed in on KZbin back in 2014 with weekly episodes when we began living full-time in a van and then everyone would be copying us ;) However, we wouldn't trade the moments we were enjoying ourselves the old fashioned way without recording. Everyone traveling in a van has several common denominators when living this way and you are right about choosing an angle to present. Thanks for following along on our adventures!
