In this modern age of speed and frivolity, he is an inspiration to all of us.

The master continues:" I used to focus in managing my writings regarding to the principle of Taoism and the foundation of Qi practise back in my 5 years time spend inside the cave. I was able to think deeply and profoundly with regard to how to improve oneself in the process of practising Qi and Tai chi. In order to completely avoid from any disturbance, I quitted all of my duties at work, including some very important positions such as the Chairman of Tai chi associations of Wu Dang, etc. The compensation of such sacrifice is that I was able to obtain deep meditation and purify my Qi. "

The master also talks about the foundation of Taoism which is expressed as Qi and its path of converting energy. (氣數象) This theory in Quantum Physics's term is summarized in five steps. 1. Everything is energy. 2. Energy can be described as vibration. 3. Vibration can be described as frequency. 4. Frequency can be express through numbers. 5. Numbers can be organized into shapes and patterns and forms. The principle of Taoism is based on converting Qi into numbers and forms. This important theory is expressed in three essential steps in I CHING: (1) "Qi"(氣) Energy is described as "Qi"(氣). "Qi" is defined as property of substance which exists throughout the universe without being manifested as any particular numbers, forms nor shapes. The original Qi in the universe is demonstrated as an energy ring or a full circle. This character of Qi is absolutely the foundation of Taoism. The way in which Qi can be purified and amplified is what every practitioner of Tao wants to achieve. However, this cannot be easily done due to the fact that our mind is easily distracted by its surrounding social environment, especially if one is on an important position in a organization. Thus, this is essentially why the master chooses to stay in this cave for a period of 5 years to just get away from busy daily routine of office work on Wu Dong. (2)"Number"(數) This energy or frequency can be indeed manifested as numbers which can indicate not only the sequence of beings or matters, but also the positive and negative characteristics of beings or matters. For example, there are 8 symbolic trigrams as well as 64 hexagrams in I-Ching. (8 and 64 are numbers which originated from the energy or Qi and all these numbers are equally divided into two groups - Yin and Yang). It is important to calculate the correct number of days in any activities in Taoism, especially in the phase of meditation or Tai chi practice. Therefore, the cycle of 5 years in which the master carefully chooses in the video obviously is a symbol for the five elements. (Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth) (3)"Shape"(象) Numbers can be organized or illustrated as different shapes or forms or patterns, or even as the result of activities. For example, every number from 1 to 64 is assigned to a particular hexagram in I-Ching. Or, in the video, the master would like to inspire a group of youngsters with high potentials as new trainers on Wu Dong as a by-product of his meditation of the five years in the cave. This result of his planning is mainly depended on the level of Qi in surrounding environment in the cave and the number of days in which his meditation endures according to Taoism standards.

The master continues: "During the time in which I stayed in this cave, I kept practicing Tai chi everyday. My daily routine is completed without any electricity. My daily supply is carried up here by my disciples on a weekly base. I strongly believe that this is the most convenient environment for anyone who wishes to seriously practise Tao or Tai Chi. "

"What is Tao?" The reporter asks. The master answers: "Tao is a way of going back the natural life and keep away from everyday busy life in the city. Tao is Qi's flow and one must obtain enlightenment in order to purify Qi. I have spend a lot of time and effort to find this location with great Feng shui and natural energy of Qi. Although this cave is man made, however, it provides great comfort for me in Qi practise as well as in medication. This location is undisclosed to the public and it is isolated to such extent that no one can easily find it. So, I stay in this particular cave in between 2004 and 2009."
