The BC Basic Personal Amount (the amount of income you need to earn before being subject to the provincial portion of income taxes) should be at least double or triple what it currently is.

5 years ago when I was a first year apprentice as a Heavy-duty Mechanic, they paid me $25.50 and now I make $48.. and it's still ain't enough 😅 then again "BC" stands for Bring Cash 😂

A lot of people are not making that. If you make $27 the minimum wage then those making $35 need to be making $45 or so then

Do like they did in New York City in the 1980s, Government Owned Housing - with geared-to-income so those earning 20-30 an hour will only pay about $800 for a 2 bedroom apartment, get the Gov't into the housing business, it works

Raise wages is the same as lowering costs. Except we have no way to lower costs. 2% inflation is baked in, that means prices are always going up. Wages have no choice but to keep up.
