9:00 is the reason why I hate all the controls in the screen.... I had a Malibu that messed up like that and thankfully the AC was still hard buttons but I couldn't listen to the radio.... so when the screen breaks they know they can charge you too much to get it fixed instead of you possibly being able to fix it on your own or at a non dealer location.... these new parts are coded to the vehicle so you have to go to a dealer or have software to flash it to work with the vehicle in order for it to work and in some cases even have the vehicle turn on... LOL

The suspension is really stiff on it. It’s awesome on the highway and smooth roads, but not ideal for any one who has to drive on brick / rough / bad roads.

Personally M8GC cause I like lower center of gravity and seating position. Although if I recall correctly the 8 series GC has a conventional trunk, not the hatchback so it’s not super practical haha.

@@EddieX dang lol I just bought a ‘25 x5m today. I just felt like the m8gc was a little bit of a boat. Plan is to probably trade the x5m on the new m5 when it comes out. Would have gone with a panamera turbo but prices are just so high. I think you get a better value with bmw. I’m sure I’ll trade it in soon on a 911 though ha.

Personally i had an XM for a month i sold it a month after i bought it with 0 km like my own spec it cost me around 210$k but was it actually worth it? Well if i say in business way yes in personal prespective not that much yes its prespective more comfortable but not 200$k+ comfortable so but so value for money this is 10 times better.... X5s have always been this expensive, back in the original X5 days 2002-2006 with 4.6is and 4.8is they were mid to late $70k cars, in todays money that was over $105k and that was not an M, an equivalent to like an M50i today

Prefer the Large Driver Defender OCTA spec and design wise but the deal breaker is their sporty quality control...eg defender suddenly shutting turns.... I completely agree. I used to have a 2016 M235i XDrive. I missed the car, but the maintenance scared me. I recently bought the Tesla M3P- 2023. Nothing has beaten me on the street for the price. The only thing I hate about German cars, with the exception of Porsche is the resale value takes a serious hit overtime.

You can use Bimmercode to change the instrument cluster to display M style gauges. I haven’t messed with all the different settings for a while, so there could be more things you can change on a non M car.
