My 28 year old son had bells palsy 6 years ago. He woke up one morning went to get some paracetamol from the cupboard, he had his back to me and turned round, his face was completely drooped like it was dripping . He said mum is this normal. I went no it is not. We rushed to a&e. I was terrified it was a stroke. He is fully recovered now, has been for years. God bless you, speedy recovery x

glad you cut the catnip before it flowered. the cats will love the dried catnip...they are certainly enjoying the fresh in the pot!! I think I will cut my catnip tomorrow, and get it to drying. take it easy Elliot....after hearing about the four house tours, and the long drive....I wonder if the stress didn't kick that bell's palsy episode off. oh, and happy birthday, Matt! oh, and add like a tsp of epsom salt to the green pepper, and water it in.....does wonders. do it weekly.

Member that the fresh potted herbs you buy from supermarkets are actually multiple seedlings maturing in one pot..... Essentially, you have at least 4 or 5 plants in one pot that you can separate and grow Individually to maturity 👍

And my personal opinion, you don't sound very much different, just a little here and there but almost unnoticeable. had never watched any of your non royal videos before but I watched you both build your home and it was very entertaining. You both have great taste and your cats are beautiful and hilarious. Your garden is amazing! I love the greenhouse and the rose walk! I planted a great many flowers in pots this year because I was adapting to my fibro, it's hard to kneel down. I wanted to ask you, what kind of pots do you have, what is the brand? They are so clever with the measures on the side. I'm glad you are out and about. Remember it's ok to feel frustrated and sad, just as long as you don't live there. Cheers! You are in my prayers.

So glad your not letting the Bells Palsy spoil your trips out Elliot and to be honest you can hardly tell. Happy Birthday Matt and as for the cow picture just paint the yellow background grey and put it in the hallway or kitchen, or even the downstairs loo! I know it’s not suitable for drinking when your out but when my Grandma was in an old people’s home some residents had a big version of a toddlers sippy cup for their tea or coffee, I wonder if this would help you.

I had Bell’s palsy 9 years ago&I looked way worse than you. It looked like a total stroke on me. I live in the USA&I immediately went to the doctor &they put me on a steroid for 10 days&it went totally back to normal. I don’t want to come off like I’m an expert or anything but they told me the steroids were crucial. I hope you recover soon!😊

Happy Birthday Matt ! Elliot two friends had Bell's Palsy at different times. Although a virus was discussed as possible cause both felt stress was the reason. Took a few months to return to normal for both of them. And when they were stressed or tired they felt the healing process took a few steps backwards so get your rest. Actually you look like you just came from a dentist appointment nothing so unusual. You might consider picking up a childs siippy cup for when you are home anyway it might be a help. All the best to the two of you.

I had Bells Palsy years ago and my treatment was electric shocks which really helped Try not to stress yourself out and avoid catching colds. There are some facial exercises you can do to help..eg..pouting

Happy Birthday Matt, even if it is hours over due. Loved the card. I like your cow picture, I definitely fits in your office, or in that area by the bifold doors to the garden, or you could get adventurous and paint the background new or take black or brown and make a fence or iron grate fence over the yellow to give it a different vibe. Elliot though I see that the Palsy got worse in parts of the video, I am a special education teacher, who is herself disabled, so I notice such things, it is a ok and then I just don't see it unless there is change. Sorry drinking is still a problem. Hope the tingling on the effected side jeans great things to come, here's hoping and praying you continue to heal quickly and permanently. I absolutely love the garden and the green house. The roses looking stunning too.

I had bells palsy when I was five months pregnant at 28. Yours is a mild form compared to mine. I needed a straw and had to have one eyelid taped down. If you look carefully there is minute weakness still in my face but I recovered.... Took 14 months for me but grateful I'm better
