I’ve been following you both from your first upload. I’m a healthcare worker and have been working with dementia patients and I just wanted to really emphasize that what you’re doing, both of you, but especially Jason being willing to make these videos at this stage of the progression of this disease is, absolutely incredible! His giving other people insight, is extremely helpful and I’d imagine, a glimpse into his true nature, of being this helpful, generous, loving guy! Thanks to both of you!

Going to plant nurseries and garden centers might make a good outing and keep the creative juices flowing for the new backyard. God bless you both.

I love your laughter Leslie and seeing Jason smiling is so sweet. I can't imagine how hard it is for you guys but you are doing a wonderful job as his caregiver 🤗

List making is a VERY good strategy for all of us, but especially as we are getting older. 🙌🏻👍🏼😉

Still really love you guys....a lot. I was thinking that maybe a couple of his buddies could take him to a railroad museum (like we have one near Rio Vista, California) where he could go on a pretend 'riding the rails' in an old boxcar.....just an idea. Our immortal souls must be fed as well as our stomachs....it's what dreams are made of. Just an idea. יוי

Been struggling with brain fog, my doctor isn’t the greatest thinks it’s nothing to worry about, but he isn’t the one noticing the change I feel is happening , I too have to write everything down, when I remember that I have to. Wishing you both well

I see Jason was having a good day. Good to see both of u laugh. The backyard could be a little at a time. Buy a few plants a day. Gets u both out. Then when he plants those go get a couple more plants.

Yes, what a different Jason from your last video yesterday! I am excited to hear your news. I've been thinking about you since yesterday and very worried that he was declining to the "abusive" phase.

Along with dementia my hubby has COPD. He thinks he can do things but he gets confused and breathless very easy. He’s to the point now all he wants to do is watch tv. What I find interesting is he loves to watch baseball and he remembers everything about it. That’s all he want to talk about and remembers.🙏

When my mom passed away, one of my biggest consolations was knowing that I had done everything possible for her. It helped more than you know to be able to hold onto that.

Can you compare the chicken satays from the local US to those elsewhere in the US? Starting a delicious local tour working up to Jason's satay international dreams? Just trying to modify the bucket list. :) Thank you for sharing.

I know your life is dealing with dementia but do you ever get time to fill your brain with other stuff and have conversation with others that doesn’t include it. My heart goes out to you and Jason. You are in my prayers

Dementia is all consuming. Caring, planning, worrying, venting, sleeping, preparing, anticipating, modifying the physical environment, researching, troubleshooting, organizing, crying, re-evaluating, budgeting, protecting, entertaining, stimulating, nourishing, doing the chores of two, supervising the tasks they can still do, doing all the driving, explaining to others, mediating, amusing, negotiating, cheering, helping with hygiene, overseeing medical care, weighing decisions, staying upbeat, suppressing frustration and guilt... I could go on. It's on your mind and in your dreams. First thoughts early in the morning and last thoughts late at night. People always say to look after yourself, but that's not easily done and is very often impossible. Even with help it is all consuming.

@@LIVINGWITHDEMENTIAPODCAST that’s strange as that what’s happening to me,normally the more recent one would pop up but the very old one that I have already seen keep coming up at the top every day.
