Living with loss: grief after diagnosis and treatment (with BSL interpretation)

This webinar is for those living with ovarian cancer and will address some of the feelings of loss that often come with a diagnosis.
The webinar is run by Dr Frances Goodhart, a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. She hopes the webinar will reassure you that loss and grief is a completely natural response to a diagnosis of ovarian cancer and that there is no ‘right way’ to respond to grief.
In the webinar Frances provides a brief overview of some of the losses associated with the diagnosis and treatment of ovarian cancer. She then presents a range of psychological theories of grief and loss.
There will be advice on practical strategies for coping with loss and grief associated with ovarian cancer. There will be suggestions for additional reading and supportive websites for you to explore further in your own time.
