Ever since the year started I've had Pancreatitis and it is by far the most painful thing I've ever experienced. Apparently my case is so bad I gotta have a endoscopy and later have my Gallbladder taken out. Pancreatitis all together is something I wouldn't even wish upon my worst enemy

I had acute pancreatitis at the age of 19 . It was found that it was because of hereditary. I had very severe pain in my back and stomach. My lungs were not working properly and my kidneys were also failed. By god's mercy I recovered in 20 days being in ICU . At this time I was not knowing this can happen to me again. But when I was 20 year's old . That is 1 year after I had 2nd attack of pancreatitis. Same pain. Just like someone squeezing your pancreas . I was hospitalized for 15 days this time. recovered. From my side there wasn't any mistake . Still it happened. May be my past life Karma were too bad. Please tell me how can this will not happen to me again. Any suggestions and warnings. I am on almost zero fat diet with 6 small meals a day. Please tell some more suggestions. Worst thing: My brother also has same problem he is younger than me . He had pancreatic attack when he was 17. At his time it took 2 days for diagnosis. But because of him I understood at my time within seconds that next few days I am going to hell. Pain level 💯. Please help 🥺

Taylor H I had my pancreas removed due to a congenital issue but my friend also had her gallbladder removed and ever since she gets stones or debris in her duct like he says here. Make sure they check both of these and then check again! I learned to be my own advocate!!!

I'm sorry brother you have this pain. My symptoms mirror pancreatitis. What should be my next step. I have had blood work x3 (CBC,esr, bilirubin,etc..), endoscopy, cat scans x3(today with contrast), ultrasounds, mri is next. Should I see an endocrinologist if I already see a gastroenterologist? Should I demand a PET scan to rule out Pancreatic cancer. This is a constant pain! I need help. I will pray for you .

It sounds from your wording that you are from the other side of the pond. I really don't know how it works over there. I would demand all of the test you can get. Luckily in the UK everything if free with regards to health care to a degree, so the test that i had just happened without much input from me. The problem with blood test that i find is, If your amilaise is not high , the Doctors don't consider you to be having a pancreatic episode. However this isn't always the case because the levels might have been high and then dropped to a lower level. this has happened to me a few times. Pancreatic specialist understand this, but regular doctors tend to dismiss it in my opinion.

I'm in the battle of a bad flare up right now. I haven't been able to even keep down ice chips or sleep for almost 48 hours, so it looks like I have to go to the hospital again. I've been interchanging heating pads on my back and front. It started this time because I had a bad fall and hurt my back so badly it made me naseaus, and I couldn't stop throwing up and made my pancreas mad. :/ Nothing is helping right now. Do you have and pain management suggestions? I'm in hell right now.

Hey there 😊 I just wanted to let you know that I heard from the manufacturer, and they are going to send me Creon every month for free! I just have to call every 21 days to get the refill, and make application every year. The meds should be here in a few days. I’m going to talk to my doctor about genetic testing. Have you done that? I can’t remember if you addressed that in your video. I just can’t accept “idiopathic”. I’m one of those people who needs to know everything. 😂 Oh...I’ve followed Beating Pancreatitis’s regimen for the past three weeks (I’m still juicing until I get the Creon), and I haven’t had any substantial pain or sustained nausea for 6 days. I sincerely can’t remember when I’ve felt this good. I can’t believe that the doctors here have never told me to restrict my diet. It’s been nearly 30 years of this diagnosis alone. It wasn’t until this last hospitalization at a very small (I would say “podunk” lol) hospital here in Port Townsend, that a young doctor made the referral to the dietitian for a consultation. And I’ve been to the Cleveland Clinic, The Ohio University Hospital, and the University of Kentucky Hospital. I really don’t think the doctors know much about it. How are you faring? Have you had any flares?

I have “recurrent idiopathic pancreatitis”. I’m in the hospital twice a year, at least since I was a teenager, but was told it was my nerves until 1993, when I was finally diagnosed. I don’t drink alcohol, I don’t have a gall bladder, and my cholesterol levels are spectacular. I’m in pain all the time and I’m always nauseated. I think it must be genetic because my dad and his mother suffered with abdominal pain, undiagnosed. I’m afraid to eat anything, but I’m malnourished, and expected to gain weight. No fat, no meat, not much is safe to eat at all. I sure hope they find out someday why this keeps happening. I was in the hospital three weeks ago, and my lipase was 7700. There was no reason for this. It’s very discouraging.

thank you for watching. do you not take anything to help you eat ? Ceon has made such a massive difference to what I can eat. As regards to Nausea, I have started taking Cyclozine. When i start feeling sick i take one of these and normally It passed quite quickly.

Silver for fun I was prescribed Creon, but it costs $567 per month. I can’t afford it. I’m on Medicare, which helps some, but it’s still cost-prohibitive. I’ve sent off to the manufacturer to ask for help, but I haven’t heard back from them. I spent two hours with a dietitian, who gave me a lot of information, sample diets and a sheet with the fat content in various foods. I don’t think my pancreas has recovered from my last bout and hospitalization last month. Every time I eat, I’m sick and in pain. I found a blog called Beating Pancreatitis the other day, and I think I’ll take his advice about food. I’m going to fast and clean myself out, and start again from scratch with food, beginning with juices and adding a “safe” food every two days to see what I can tolerate. I’ve started a food journal. I’m also malnourished due to malabsorption and I need to gain weight. Good luck, right? 😊 The blogger was first diagnosed with pancreatitis in 1979, and advocates the enzymes (of course), grape seed extract, curcumin, and vitamin C with rose hips, plus a very strict diet. Everything costs so much money, it’s hard to afford all the things one needs to take care of oneself. Yay, America 😒
@silverforfun3389
@silverforfun3389 6 жыл бұрын
Yay America indeed.. we dont pay for our medication,not strictly true, I pay about £100 a year for a yearly subscription in order for me to get all the scripts I need, but then everything it free. From what i have heard almost everyone who applies to the manufacturer do get Creon given to them. I used to also take Ensure drinks.. they are full of goodness but taste awful. are you in the Facebook group Chronic Pancreatitis Support. if your not, join it you will get a lot of advise on there. most of the members live in the USA.

Silver for fun I hope I get the Creon 🤞🏼 I’ll check out the support group. I’m at a point right now that I can’t eat anything without pain and the rest. I’m currently juicing. Yesterday, I drank an Ensure and rolled around my bed in pain and was vomiting for seven hours. I don’t know what I’m going to do. The Ensure drink had 6 grams of fat, and that was too much. I don’t think these doctors know much about it. I’m frustrated as hell!
