I have an adult van cat too. He's different from my other cats. Super intelligent (knows how to open the doors), very sensitive, great athlete too. And he needs to be cuddled so much. One treasure !

I just found your channel. Love it!! ❤ I rescue a feral kitten about three years ago. During the time I tamed her and call her Sunshine. I found out she was a Turkish Van ( black and white colors). Sunshine runs 90 to nothing in the house. She loves water, too. Omg, she bosses the other cats in the house. Not too aggressive!! Two months ago, I got sick with pneumonia. Sunshine changed in a good way. She started cuddling with me. She sleeps right beside me all night. When she wants loving ❤️, she will jump on my shoulders. Omg, the bathroom door has to be open when I take a shower. Please understand that I am not the only person in the house. She stopped having anything to do with them. It's like overnight I became her person. Have you ever heard of a Turkish Van Cat doing this?

A Turkish Van wandered into my life 26 years ago and stayed for twelve years when, unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to take him to a shelter. Desi, I think about you every day.
