Damn this was frustrating to watch. It plays almost exactly like Stardew Valley/Animal Crossing. If you've played those, you know exactly how everything works in this game. Do quests to unlock items and cosmetics. Complete tasks to unlock more areas. Make friends to unlock even more. Plant crops to make a shitload of money. It really isn't hard, but you aren't going to unlock the entire game in less than two hours of gameplay.

There's a weird discrepancy on the price - Epic is three times the price for the base game, so buy it on Steam. Just the base game is super cheap, the extras on the other editions seem like a waste.

Is that because Epic shows the most expensive version as standard? I know there's special editions available. But I don't remember how Epic shows the prices.

I don't have the actual epic store, but the epic store website has the base game for £24.99. Steam has it for £23.79... £1.20 is not 3x the price. You must have been looking at the ultimate edition :P

For future reference (though from he sound of it, you've given up on the game after one session just because it *might eventually* have real-money currency, and are even jumping to the conclusion that everything that isn't star coins will be a paid currency, when actually it's only the Moon coins or whatever they're called), the black stones on the walls *can* have gems, but if they have coloured bits sticking off them then they *do* have gems (it's 'possible vs guaranteed', not 'doesn't vs does').

But There's no microtransactions for the gameplay and they've said they're not going to, so it'll play like it does now. No wait timers, paying for star coins, or anything. Only things it's for currently is the star path, which is just a few pieces of furniture, and expansions for new characters, although that's obviously not gonna be for a while yet

@@gferrol118 There is a wait timer, it's stamina, the typical bullshit. It's just easier to defeat here because food is stupidly easy to get.

@@ChrisParkerstudios uhh... How is the stamina a wait timer? Its basically identical to stardews energy. Use it up doing tasks, then get it back by eating food... No waiting :P

@@gferrol118 I seriously don’t buy that this will never have micro transactions. Especially when it goes free to play. It has all the systems in place to implement them, what with the nested currencies for premium items.
