Tess and Joel's home is beautiful. We absolutely loved visiting this incredible tiny home and the vibrant couple who created it! I was smiling throughout this video, knowing that Bryce was totally loving the couple and their home! Anytime there is a DIY combined with artistic flair and a low cost, I feel it's in this channel's sweet spot! (Although they love and celebrate all manners of small homes!) I could live in this home. I'd love to live inside out!

Why is it that all the people you interview seem so happy? To be in a smaller home and more connected to Nature, without all those "things" we don't really need? They have a very lovely property, away from close neighbors. How peaceful! Who would want to give this up!

I love the wood interior. So beautiful and warm. Body language observation: This couple really loves each other. Even when talking to someone else, their bodies are turned towards each other. And Tess frequently looks with affection to Joel as she's speaking. I think that love further permeates this home and adds to the warmth & inviting nature of it.

First off I loved the external surrounds. The lovely gardens, the outdoor bath and even the wood shed looked good. Then when we went inside I felt the good vibes. The beautiful wood. Loved the sunburst at the top of the bathroom door. Just the personal touches that took this beautiful place from a structure to a comfy home. I wish Tess and Joel many happy years together living in this idyllic spot.

as great as this set up is - would really love to see a series of videos with tiny home folks who DON’T have good fortune of living on family land - finding legal land really makes a big difference - having said this - much success for this couple living their tiny dream 🇨🇦🙏

Well, we, Bryce and Rasa are working with reality here. I did finally find a tiny home community nearby here in Pennsylvania USA that isn't a glorified trailer park, perhaps even with an existing tiny home to buy, but there are other practical considerations in my situation that would make my dream choice impractical for my life stage. I may not be able to enjoy my wish coming to fruition, but I can still imagine and appreciate others making it work for them!!! 👍💖 Luckily for me, I do also adore my smallish bungalow-style home that has hardwood floors and beautiful chestnut woodwork (no longer available unless salvaged from the 1930s or so). Well-contructed--just needs a bit of expensive TLC....

I don't think we're allowed, in Canada. From what I've read in tinyhome groups in my province, even if you own the land, the bylaws don't allow all year round, permanent tiny dwellings. I think there's lots of people trying to get the government to change the bylaws and be more open minded about housing in Canada because we're having housing crisis from coast to coast. Even in Vancouver, the bylaws allow laneway houses, but not parking tinyhouses on the side of a property/yard even if the property is privately owned. @@TruTalks-go4yo

having lived in Santa Cruz Mts. in 60"s 70"s Northern California, this is crafting & living in joy, Many many families raised, educated children, built homes, lived full lives that look exactly like this. Fabulous self sustaining gardens W/bonus of flowers. Called Hippies ... what do you name yourselves now? (well didn't have family land to live on). This is it! This is the one that I want to build! Recycled building materials, wood everywhere, butcher-block counters witht rounded lunch counter at the end ..... I absolutely love it! The only thing I would have to add would be a fold-out or slide space where I can keep my parrots. And keep them securely, as one of them LOVES chewing on wood. lol Also more insulative/heating features as I live in Canada. This couple has created a home of fairy tales, and I thank them for the inspiration! And, Bryce, I feel like I know you as I've watched so many of your viedoes.
