Living Big In A Tiny House

Living Big In A Tiny House

Күн бұрын

This spectacular cabin is like nothing you have seen before. Hidden amongst the towering trees of the Olympic rainforest, this enchanting and whimsical cabin is guaranteed to take your breath away. Built by Jacob Witzling (Instagram: @jacobwitzling), this cabin is not only a home, it's also a work of art. Sustainably constructed from reclaimed and salvaged materials, this tiny house fits in perfectly to its forest surroundings, almost as if it's come to life directly from a storybook.

Can we have an introverts village where we all live in moss-covered cabins in the woods? Each a mile or more apart.

Hey there! your comment resonates so much. Listen to NONE of the negatives. People are negative because they havent resolved their own unhappiness with being a rat in a cage. Im approaching 42 and am consumed with regrets for not just taking a chance "outside the norm" and living free when I was young enough and able. Dont be like me. Live. Live. Live. sounds awesome? TRY IT. there is plenty of time to join back with the rest of the sheeple if it doesnt work out or it isnt for you. But live first for your dreams. Older and wiser I may be, my dreams have been replaced with different loves but tinged with regret for not at least experiencing life outside "1984". Its a one way ride. LIVE. I wish you luck!

This guy is a craftsman with an eye for organic architecture. The way he describes the process of building the house from vision to implementation is poetic and inspiring. The way he uses old, salvaged materials and repurposed them into something new is really awesome. He makes sure his creation blends with the environment and makes his structures a part of the surrounding nature. I would love my house to be created by a soulful builder like him. This is one of the most beautiful videos on tiny house living that I have ever watched. The message it conveys is so moving. Thank you so much for sharing it.

Jacob is a natural born artist, I was sure of that after only few words he said about his work. The way he enjoys the whole process is so familiar to me and I hope he'll never run out of inspiration and that spark and love he has for building homes that are acctualy pieces of art. I've watched hundreds of tiny homes episodes where people were talking about the build and materials they used, the size and what it meant for them to move into such small space, which is obviously important, but none of them were so artisticly spirited. It was a pure pleasure to watch him being so involved and so happy with the outcome.
