It sounds good until you are in the midst of losing everything. I went through it about 5 years ago. I ended up having to choose between starting an entirely new life from nothing or just giving up. Luckily my faith/beliefs kept me from giving up. I’m still working on figuring out just exactly what I want to do but in the meantime I’m helping others as much as I can. Who knows maybe that’s what I’m supposed to be doing lol Cheers everyone

My social life is ZERO, and at a point my spiritual life began to drag... and that was my red flag. There are so many ways to make our life journey! Lance is wise at a young age due to having gone through so much and being willing to make changes that in the end, were so good for him. This video wasn’t just a tiny home video- it was also a story and an example of what others can do who find themselves in a similar situation!

@Jamac007
@Jamac007 5 жыл бұрын
An 80k house is still cheap compared to a full sized home, but yes I agree this home is within most people reach, most of it comes to either using new or recycled materials and professional or D.I.Y labor.
@DavGreg
@DavGreg 5 жыл бұрын
Not everyone wants to build their own home or has the ability to do so and labor is a signficant part of the cost of a home. Also, note he did not have a toilet, no HVAC and a very minimal, almost ascetic , inside to his home. I am sure that is a big part of the low build cost. As to the more expensive builds, they feature very different construction and system equipment along the lines of a conventional home.

I find so may of the more expensive homes to be absolutely sterile and, to me, extremely depressing. They are so clean and streamlined, that all of the character that could have been is completely washed away. I prefer the creativity and ingenuity of the simpler and more personal spaces.
@goodliving2171
@goodliving2171 5 жыл бұрын
Air condition units in conventional homes have proven to be not as efficient as the type that hotels use for each room or the kind like Mitsubishi and other brands that you hang on the wall for each room for heating and cooling. Whether you buy a house or have someone build it for you, the way you want it may cost close to the same, depending on the deal you get, but you make the decisions of the layout and materials, but of course, you have to wait for it to be built. Shipping containers are a faster build since you already have the shell, especially if you are going to stack them, they are stacked minutes after delivery! If you insulate the outside and use whatever type material for the siding, you keep all the space inside, that would have been insulated walls. Cargo containers are wonderful!

ThisIsAPrettyLongUserNameWhyTheFuckWouldHeDoThatSoThatEveryoneWouldThumbsUpIt no if he gets his own tv show it takes away the authenticity trust me as the network is about greed. This is the best way as you get the raw genuine nature and he has more control of what he can put out there. Love it as it is not about the homes but the journey of people too

Hi I'm crying for him and my mum. I know the pain. It's a year since I lost my 96yr old ma. Lost my hubby a year and half ago. Two of my closest family. No matter how old or young. Pain is the same. I got spiritual. God saw me through this difficult time. Be strong. Take care. Love from South Africa

THIS is without a doubt the most beautiful, well planned small container home I have seen with such a low cost of building it. It looks so serene, and comfortable. I was so impressed with the cleaver way you incorporated the doors into expanding the length your home. I love all of the natural pieces you incorporated into the design and decor, the beautiful wooden countertops and the very artistic branch above your bed add so much! I could easily live in it. If I ever get to the point of deciding to live in a small place like this I would be thrilled to have you build it for me. I was so impressed with you Lance. You seem like such a wonderful, kind soul! Thanks for sharing a peek into your life and your new found freedom in this beautiful setting. I had a dear friend tell me years ago, "When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. " It looks like you have made "lemonade" out of the lemons and made a good choice in simplifying your life and bringing about a much deserved feeling of peace. Blessings, and I wish you the very best!!
