Both Matt's home and his personal story are incredible. I often say that my absolute favourite part of my job is the people that I get to meet and this weeks story is a perfect example of that. Matt is one of the most inspirational, creative and hard working people that I've ever met. I have to say, I watched this video 5 times, in a row. This build was more than about a house. I was so inspired, moved, encouraged and amazed, by what Matt was able to do and the reasons behind it. His house is stunning but his personality is so much more. Never, have I been emotional about a house, but here I am, so honored, humbled and grateful, to have seen this video.

I have watched literally thousands of tiny house videos and this house is my favorite. Matt is amazing 👏 and has done an incredible job creating this beautiful house. You can tell that Bryce was immensely impressed by the house and by Matt. The message of conquering uncertainty (with this build and his medical challenges) is a wonderful reminder that despite life's struggles, there is beauty in the struggle. Life is so precious and Matt reminds us to be grateful and always try to grow and be content with what you have and where you are in life.

The documentary, "65 Red Roses" brought the disease to my attention. Such a horror... up there with ALS. My grandmother died from ALS. Two neighbor children died from CF. With the technology of today, no one should ever have such disease.

Wow. Out of all the houses and stories, this one truly touched my heart. I love that he took inspiration from so many places, as well as bringing back sentimental pieces and incorporating them into the the build. Most of us hang pictures of our friends. This guy prides himself on having a fence, or a stove that he has memories built in them. So beautiful and pure. I can only wish him the best!

Federico Andre, The wake up usually happens with some distress or pain. This guy has had health issues. Rather than being defeated he took on the challenge and believed he was able. I have had my challenges. I needed to see this vid because I forget I can do almost anything. “You are what you think”, comes to mind. My sister sat me down recently and had me watch the movie, The Secret. It was yet another way of getting a kick in the pants.
