Newby here. What exactly is underneath your picture? Is it a large foam mat? Or something else. Thanks

I was wondering. Would it be possible to felt something on a knitted woolen cardigan and would that hold up in a handwash?
@LivingFelt5 жыл бұрын
Hi and thank you for your question. Yes, this will work. If you are making a detailed design, you may have better success with an item that has been fulled. If the knit is too loose, it can be a challenge to get the fibers as dense as desired. Before embarking on your cardigan, you might knit a square or two and test out your needles, knit and fiber for the result you are going for :)

I’m wondering the difference between batt and roving? The same thing just different form?

Hi Barbara -- I do have "words" which I will include below, but we also covered this in a video last year. It is archived in our fb group, and split into two...quality is too low for youtube, but if you join the group - you can see part 1 here: facebook.com/MarieMSpaulding/videos/10156293476894173/ part 2 here: facebook.com/MarieMSpaulding/videos/10156293554709173/ *Please note, you need to answer 2 QUESTIONS to join the group -- to make sure everyone reads and agrees to the guidelines :)

Hi, can I ask, what is the micron number of your MC-1 batt wool? All I know is that it is merino wool (right?) but I can’t find out the micron number on your website. Also, what does the 1 in MC-1 refer to? .Thank you.
@LivingFelt4 жыл бұрын
Hi Joode, Thank you for your question. The MC-1 Wool Batt is approximately 25 micron. We list the microns next to the fiber type in the pull down menu on our shopping cart. The MC-1 is a Merino Cross, the "1" was our fun way of celebrating our "first" signature fiber :)
