Video of the Sunday Afternoon open tactical.
It might not have been one of the lowest participated Hubbardton Battle #livinghistory event, due to being so close to the celebration of the 4th of July, where a long weekend on the beach with the family to preference over attending this year, but we had a wonderful time with those #reenactors that did make the journey to the #reenactment.
We had all type of weather, from muggy summer weather to the Saturday afternoon battle that was growing into an epic reenactment with muskets flaring in drizzling rain until the sky opened and ended the fight, but there be stories told about this by the campfires.
Saturday evening was a lovely night of shared, rum punches, stories and jokes good and bad with our friends.
Sunday was perfect weather the morning depiction gave a good reputation of the action that happened on that very ground 247 years ago with the number of reenactors we had.
As always, we had a wonderful time being at such a wonderful historical site as Hubbardton Battlefield. We will be doing it next year on the weekend after the 4th of July. See you on July 12&13, 2025.
Thank you to all the site staff, 3rd Massachusetts Regiment for once again be co-host with us, the continental army reenactors, The Brigade of the American Revolution and to our fellow King's men an incredibly special thanks for making this year successful.
