Have you been to Niagara Falls? What places do you recommend visiting over there? Or which are you planning to travel to? Let me know in the comments!

Your trip looked really restorative and your B&B looked really charming. Was lovely to get a glimpse of more budget-friendly options. Must check out third space cafe during our planned visit! As we are not from Canada, what do you usually tip for good service in restaurants? Is it 15%? In the U.K. service is usually 10% and optional. I imagine Canada is similar to the U.S. in that tipping is expected? And do you tip if you're stopping at a cafe for a coffee (i.e no table service - ordering from the counter and sitting down)? We plan to stay at the Marriott Fallsview, which you reviewed. Are there any solid options for breakfast outside of the Starbucks on site? Your breakfast at the Inn looked amazing!

Thank you, yes it was indeed very restorative! That's correct, it's similar to the US here, tipping is expected. I usually give 15% as a default tip, sometimes 18% when I'm particularly happy with the service. Also, I'm not sure if you are aware that there is HST (sales tax) of 13% in Ontario, so take that into consideration in your budget. When I take out coffee, I usually still tip 10-15%, as the base amount is small anyway. I wouldn't say it's expected, but then again it depends on the outlet. In some cafes it's really optional, and when you pay with the machine you get the option to tip. In some other cafes, you cannot get past to the payment screen unless you select a tip. I believe that many people tip 5% upward for takeout, but for anyone reading this thread, feel free to add! Thanks for watching the Marriott Fallsview video! For breakfast, there used to be a good place called 'Country Chalet', but I just saw that it's temporarily closed. Right next to Marriott there's also a TGI Friday, that could work for brunch but maybe not breakfast. "Cippy's Place" seems to look great, but I haven't been there myself, and it's a 15 minute walk. If you want to try something Canadian, you can go to Tim Horton's which has Coffee, Donuts, and breakfast options. I wouldn't say it's the best, but worth trying! Yes, nothing can top breakfast at the inn!

I really enjoyed this video! I just found your channel and look forward to watching all your Niagara Falls videos. I love Niagara Falls and have visited the Falls every year of my life except the year I was born, the year I got married, and the year I got divorced, lol. My parents honeymooned there in 1964 and would go back every year on their anniversary. It then became our yearly family vacation and I have continued the tradition. I was so happy to see you visited the Mount Carmel Monastery. Very few Niagara Falls videos include the monastery. My mom and dad loved visiting the monastery and included it as one of our stops every year. It has been several years since I have been there, so it was nice to see again. I need to visit it again on my next visit. I was also happy to see you visited the Niagara Falls Museum. I am a member of the musuem and visit every time I am in town. I just read that the Queen Bean Cafe has permanently closed too. Some places you should visit on your next visit are the Skylon Tower and the new Power Plant tour and Tunnel to the Falls. The hotels I like to stay at are the Sheraton Fallsview on Clifton Hill, The Crowne Plaza Fallsview, and when on a budget, the Travelodge on Clifton Hill. On my most recent visit, I did the Whirlpool Jet Boat and the helicopter ride. Also did the Cave of the Winds on the American side. I have videos of those on my youtube channel if you are interested in viewing them. I also have TONS of pics on my flickr page, which you can find the link to on my youtube About tab. Thanks for the video!!
