What really resonated with me was how Johnathan mentioned diversify your portfolio so if the market drops drastically you should have cash on hand and in bonds so you can have access to some of your money and to set your account on auto invest and most importantly to have a plan great info thank you

Amazing episode! He really brought home the idea not to chase the "Hot sector", and even though tech is doing great now, it wont necessarily always be the hot sector, and you need to make sure ur investments are diversified

Great information. I learned the importance of investing in the stock market for the long term as an older person. 70 - 90 years need to look at what I will need in my late 80's and into my 90's. Thank you for opening my eyes to this. Also, loved comment about finding a few people you trust. I have learned a lot also from Dave Ramsey. Best wishes from the great state of Arizona.

The type of high yield savings accounts I don't like and never have is the ones where you have to give 30 days notice to get your money back. Firstly I think why should I have to ask a bank to get MY MONEY OUT. Second if I need to I want to get it quick and in my timing. So I have a bonus savings account where I get bonus interest every month without any withdraws - this is my emergency fund acc. I have in the last yr just got into buying a mutual fund and two efts. Ok so every know and again I take a peek and get a high lol when I see my compound working and it brought 2 more sharies. I've got 3000.00 in emergency fund, got into the stock market, I'm starting really late at 54yr on a low income - but slowly doing it. -YOU CAN TO!!

It's disappointing to see someone from a corporate finance background dismiss Bitcoin as if it's a gamble or a 'cowboy' investment. Bitcoin represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reshape the global financial system, especially as we see mounting institutional interest and strategic governmental considerations like Trump's proposed Bitcoin department to address national debt. Instead of brushing it off, financial professionals should take the time to educate themselves on the transformative potential of blockchain technology. Bitcoin isn't just another asset, it's a movement toward decentralization and freedom. By ignoring this opportunity, they're not only doing themselves a disservice but also their clients who are seeking true financial innovation.

Idk why all these financial planners or investment advisors always talk about the intrest rate on a investment vehicle may it be 4% or 5% etc but they never ever talk about the money supply the fed keeps on printing monetary inflation and price inflation are connected but not the same thing if u really want to beat inflation beat monetary inflation (which never goes down and is a major cause for price inflation) The current intrest rate will dictate if yr borrowing money, mortgage etc but it will not really help u with yr savings
