I don’t have a Birkin, but I do have a Kelly. And I admit that I love my P9 25 as much as my Kelly 28, maybe even a bit more. I just find the P9 to be so wearable and fuss free. Also, the leather is so soft and delicious. So happy to see your beautiful P9 collection grow. PS - you look stunning as usual 🤩

These P9s are gorgeous 😍 The leather looks delicious. The number sizes being off is weird, however good thing it’s bigger and you’re getting more leather verses it being smaller and less leather.

The Speedy P9 looks absolutely stunning! Love how it has that perfect mix of luxury and everyday practicality. I’ve been thinking about getting one, but honestly, I might go for a Lushentic grade instead. The craftsmanship is so on point, and the details are nearly identical to the original. Plus, the price is way more reasonable. That way, I can enjoy the same elegant look without spending too much. Excited for your next video.

Yes it’s heavy … there’s a lot of leather and the straps and hardware are very chunky. I have the 25 and 40… the 25 is very wearable and comfortable despite the weight even when I pack it full (which I usually do), but I mostly carry it top handle. The weight of the 40 shocked me, but because it is so conforming to the body and wider, the weight distribution and the comfort of the strap actually make it feel close in weight to when filled with the exact same items in Keepall 45. The 40 can hold everything the 45 can … since as Merideth demonstrates here, the size is larger than the name connotes and it’s also just more flexible.

Thanks for doing this! I have the purple 25 and fuscia 40 … if they release the turquoise in a 30 🤞🏽🙏, I’m definitely planning on completing my trio from the jewel tones! So I’ve been very curious if the 30 would still be wearable as a women’s handbag (not as luggage) - since I too noticed the p9s run large. I’m perplexed how the 30 looks so much larger than the 25 when it’s only 5cm bigger and yet it looks closer in size to the 40 …even though it’s 10cm smaller (supposedly). Actually, a turquoise 18 would be ideal but I don’t want exotic leather and my hopes are not high for a smaller size in classic leather because I don’t think LV wants a lower entry price for the p9s…. (Just thinking out loud to myself here 😅)

Thank you for taking the time to do this video Meredith!! I own the ultra black Speedy P9 40. I’m a guy and I love it. I use it for work/domestic travel. But now you convinced me to buy a 30. What do you think about the indigo one coming out from the latest runway 🫣 and I assume you bought the green 30 🤫 but please keep me posted if it has the lion or dove. 🕊️ I was going to buy one but I really wanted the dove from the original drop :( That’s why I’m leaning towards getting the indigo so I can get a new animal 🦞

Oh that's interesting about the size discrepancies! I wonder if that has to do with how they're made? More handmade maybe? It's also interesting how they don't run the leather down the sides on these bandoliers anymore. I have to wonder how that will wear over time (I'm looking at my P9 like hmmmmm) but maybe they've found a new construction technique that works?

Hey Meredith can you comment on what fits in the P9 30? Wondering if it can fit a 11"-13" lap top mainly, and then accommodate sunglasses, wallet, chargers and a few cosmetics or small cosmetic bag...If I get one, I'm thinking I would predominately use it as a carry-on bag for travel. Looks like it would fit, but curious on the laptop.

It won’t fit a laptop. Even a 40 would struggle with a laptop. It’s about shape not size with laptops. Absolutely everything else will fit.

@ it can be small enough for the shoulder, but it’s a very bulky bag to carry it that way

For owning the P9 and a few Birkins, I 100% agree with you, the quality is the same and I must say, the P9 has fun details that makes it even more special. But I don’t put Hermès on a pedestal, so I open my horizons! 😂 That being said, I made the mistake to touch the P9, so that’s why I own one now. Ha ha I’m only interested in the size 25, I might add more, who knows. 🫢
