I’m in the US and I’m over it! I was not in top 3 spending tier so not eligible to pre order. The web site crashing was ridiculous. Personally I don’t believe it’s sold out, it’s just part of the game. (Yes I could totally be wrong). Luxury is not doing as well financially so if you have a highly anticipated collection that can make you money then why wouldn’t you produce enough? I guess time will tell. Love the tool box!

I love your pieces! The toolbox is so fab. I’m in the UK (Scotland) and not close to an LV store and normally order online anyway. I had no issue ordering online when it launched, I chose the option to notify me when in stock and ordered as soon as I received the email. I managed to get an SLG with the full packaging plus the stickers which I was surprised at. I’m loving all the unboxing still and happy to see more ❤

Lovely items Meredith. I did not purchase anything from this drop. Honestly haven’t bought a luxury bag in 3 years. I truly have a bad taste in my mouth with these luxury houses. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I do feel that EVERYONE should have gotten the full packaging as it is also what makes it special. Just confirms to me that I will continue to enjoy my collection of a dozen or so luxury bags…

There were two pre-orders in Australia for the first drop. One in December and one in early January. I understand the people who were able to pre-order in January got emails that their orders will take up to 3 months to be sent out. I haven't heard of any orders being cancelled from the second drop yet.

I don’t really care any longer, and I won’t bother with the other releases. Mostly because here in the US it’s been a complete disaster. There were a lot of stores with no almost no stock and you can’t buy anything online. This was a collection I felt was primarily created for VIPs, and I think that LV should have been more transparent about that. Aside from the few folks I subscribe to, I haven’t watched the unboxings as it doesn’t interest me.

I was in short Hills today and I was offered the white couissant mirakamiIt was too big for me. I’m only 5 feet tall and it was hanging all over me, but I was able to get the white notebook in King Of Prussia so there’s a little bit, of it around tristate I called Manhattan and they really had nothing either in Soho.

Watched you open the white card holder purse, and you questioned the print and if it was dull, then you opened the next item and your face lit up more seeing the tissue paper, more than the first item…😂 I noticed the white tissue paper also seemed more bright and clear and colourful than the first piece. Probably just the material used, and the printing, on different textures…but I see what you mean… maybe you need to look at them in natural daylight… Also love the idea of the tool box for odds and sods… 😊

I love the Toolbox. Such a unique piece and I can see why you bought it. The shoes are so pretty as is the cardholder. I can totally understand how you like the original best. In most cases the first time round can't be beaten and I think this is the case with this collection. I found the original black speedy 30 that is sitting behind you in 9/10 condition for just over 2k. It was stunning but went very quickly. 😞I have also looked on Ebay and people are already selling off their new pieces. The black soft speedy which is AUD $6,300 is selling for over AUD $16,000. The cosmetic pouch which is AUD $1,250 people are asking around AUD $3,000. The speedy 20 Aud $3,600 asking over AUD $8,000. Your card holder AUD $985 asking over AUD $3,000and the list goes on. I live in the US and was able to get an Alma via my SA. We probably have the smallest boutique, so no special packaging and no display in store nothing. I am so happy for you. The toolbox was the one piece I wanted but it was sold out by the time I was up for pre-order. I did get the desk drawers instead and the pencil holder. I love them and think I will get so much more use and joy from them. My sales associate is amazing as is the store manager. I knew going on they were not going to get a lot of pieces. I wish it was launched differently- but I will enjoy what I got and if things come out in the next collections I love - I will also try for those. Honestly - it is ok that it is harder to get, makes it feel more special. I do think they sent too much to influencers and under estimated the impact . Still love LV

The canvas feels more textured/waxy. Nothing wrong with it but it’s different from what Louis typically does. Maybe it’s to prevent bleeding? You got some great pieces Meredith! I agree with you, the original Murakami colors seem brighter and more crisp. The green in the first collection is like a brighter Kelly green and the new green is darker. Some of the newer colors seem more muted/lighter than the first. Both are very pretty, but I personally prefer the original Murakami

The fact that they region locked pieces, which is ridiculous was the first red flag to me. Then the launch time here in the UK was way off it should have been an 8/9 am drop. They cancelled peoples orders that genuinely wanted their purchases, let the resellers have at it. I really think this is going to negatively impact the rollout of the other launches, but then the leaks ive seen for the Cherry Blossom they are not really enticing. The OG Pink Monogram Print would have been the collectors draw. The Cherrys are so iconic on their own, they will sell out. I still would have like to have seen a few classic shapes updated, and maybe a few other SLGs like the round coin purse. It feels half arsed, did you get a Murakami pop up in Sydney?

But than when I saw collection, it was nice to see that there are a lot of designs, that actual and new now with multicolor touch. And as well lots of thing that was never exist with Murakami. I FINALLY could order the key pouch, and I had to call LV for it to work because nothing was available on the website (I'm in France and won't be able to receive it for a whole month it seems !). Nothing is available still, I don't know what's going on. I'm very interested in the cerises (do you know when we will have pictures of the new launch btw ?), so I hope I'll be able to buy something from that collection (but if it's like what's happening now, who knows ?). I would have loved to buy the gm dauphine too, i love the slouchy nature of it but it didn't come to aus which is sad. The tool box is super cute will look lovely in the back of your videos ❤
