Great video. One suggestion - get a DC-DC charger for the Li set-up using the vehicle alternator and starting battery. For camping, while my all time fav is Magnolia Beach free camping, also enjoyed reasonable rates paid sites at Magnolia Ridge and Navarro Mills campgrounds in TX.

We just finished up The Grand Circle of parks in the Four Corner region and I'd like to add one thing to you're awesome information. It seems our parks don't pay attention to how their hosts and/or contracted companies are keeping up with bathroom care and cleaning. For water and waste management, we like to use park bathrooms as much as possible since we have smaller tanks. Too many times the bath houses are filthy or broken down. Due to this, we're limited to 3 days off grid until we have to do a blue/Grey tank dump. I just wanted to add this to what folks need to consider when looking to plan for off grid camping. Thanks for your videos, they're always so useful and entertaining.

My biggest take away is that I don't want to endanger my RV with going into BLM campgrounds and risk damage to my frame. Thanks for all the time you put into your videos Lou.

We do a lot of dry camping. Mass. has some great state forest to dry camp. When we travel across country we try to stay at state, federal, and Army Corp campgrounds. As a side note, dry camping teaches you how to prep for emergencies such as hurricanes.

gate looks some camper did this to keep the spot for themself, did not notice any fences going away from gate also in quartzsite in the long term areas people put up signs like caution lose deep sand or put down like an acre of rocks to keep you out of an area where they may have 2 or 3 rvs in the middle what's interesting is blm lets them do it ? could it be blm gets extra payola from these types of so called campers ?
