Dollar Tree Christmas Village 2024

This is my 1st year having a Christmas Village. Cobblestone Corners at dollar tree looks so nice, I had to have it. I figured a way to keep the lamp posts standing up. I glued a plastic white poker chip on the bottom. My first plan was to glue a metal washer painted white to blend in with the snow, but I was worried about metal scratching the paint of the other figurines when I pack it away each year. Then I found these white plastic poker chips in my junk that I had bought from a dollar store many years ago for a different project. Just put a drop of hot glue and it works perfect.

They really should make a train station w/train in the future to go with the village. And maybe a Bank, and a Post Office.

Thx for making these. I got some starter pieces for villaging for Christmas last year, & this will be my first year setting one up. Excited to see what I can get from $ tree :)

It seems like they aren’t carrying as much of the houses at Dollar Tree online anymore and only certain houses at Dollar Tree stores. I have been able to find some older houses on eBay. Sorry, I made the video so fast that I didn’t show the ski slope step. I just cut up styrofoam onto a triangle and adjusted it to sit flat on the risers.

Thanks for the great video. Do you replace the bulbs in these little houses when they eventually quit working or do you just buy new ones? Thanks again!

That’s a good question! I haven’t gotten to that point yet. They don’t seem to be replaceable but I’m not sure. I don’t turn the lights on that long either.

These are LED bulbs 💡 soldered in, so not easily replaceable but will last a very long time so don't worry about it, Just Enjoy It

I haven’t seen any new polyresin ones. It looks like they have a really limited selection of village houses this year.

Not sure. It was grouped with village items in the store but it’s so big it could be part of the garden gnome collection.
