Livingstone DD305 drum kit review and demo

The Livingstone DD305 comes from ALDI supermarkets in Australia and presumably overseas as well. It seems to be slightly better quality that your average electronic device form that retailer, and it a whole lot of fun to use. This model looks virtually identical to the Alesis Compact Kit 7 & the Ashton EDP450 drum kits.

while my psr e463 might not be able to export midi any more I am still working on a project to recreate the rhythms and patterns of this drum machine, I've already recreated fast march, one of the march rhythms, its got a flute playing the main tune and it sounds pretty nice when looped, I just wish I had all the patterns in audio so that I could reminiss like from 2011 when this was first being soled

yep, I had this back in 2011. it has some great paterns. as it does have a headphone jack, I wish I could have mp3s of all of them. I have plans to do a video of my livingston dd304 drum kit now that I have this new laptop which I am using to write this comment. I hope these are still in stock

Yep I think it's a good instrument. It was released under many different brand names.

@@gearfacts I have some old favourite rhythm paterns from this model which I will be remaking on my psr e463 like I did with those old styles last year

This is a bit embarassing, but could you explain which each of the pads are? I've got this kit but learning drums and guessing it's not a regular layout?

You can set the pads up with any sound you want on each of them. The default layout is intended to be similar to a drum kit, but I agree with you - it's an entirely different instrument really
